In the Grip of king Roderick
Roberick moves closer, gently placing his hands on the sides of her face, forcing her to maintain eye contact with him.
ROBERICK (softly) I know it's tough, Cynthia. But you're stronger than you think. You've faced darkness before, and you've come out of it. You're not alone in this battle.
Cynthia's breathing begins to slow down, and she starts to regain control over her panicked state. Her grip on the armchair lessens as her body relaxes.
CYNTHIA (tearfully) Thank you,
Roberick smiles warmly, his thumbs gently wiping away Cynthia's tears.
