The realization had struck me with sudden clarity: the man in my dream, the one with the sharp appearance and the comforting voice, sounded exactly like the Phantom Alpha, though the dream version was taller. “It is! Another Rogue approached him and tried to bite. Lyall quickly dodged, but the other Rogues began to attack as well. They attacked simultaneously. Lyall was overwhelmed by seven wolves at once. He tried to swat them away, punch them, and even kick them. But they just kept getting up and attacking again. Lyall threw off two Rogues. One Rogue pushed him, causing him to fall. The Rogue tried to bite him. Lyall struggled to hold the Rogue back. Another Rogue came and tried to bite him too.

There was blood everywhere. Blood of my people. I turned to Andrea who was painting from trying to keep up with my haste. “Get a good amount of Generals from the Arena Garrison. These Rogues are stronger than the usual ones. Go!” I instructed, watching one of the Barbaric Rogues rip someone’s leg off. Andrea rushed away. I rushed towards the Rogue and he saw me and lunged at me. I caught his arm and uprooted it from his shoulder joint in a pull. “That’s for taking out his leg.”

He still had his blade in hand, covered in blood, he fought back, they all did however, it didn't need enough. Jon stood beside me, silent. I looked around the area, there were signs of a brutal fight, broken trees, burnt grass, blood everywhere. And in some places… the black blood of the rogues. “They didn’t stand a chance,” I said quietly. Jon nodded. “They were ambushed., probably stalked from the moment they entered the woods.” I felt anger rise in my chest, burning hot. “These weren’t normal rogues,” I said. “You saw the black blood. They were part of the cursed line, it's clear these rogues had abilities, special abilities like the shaman had said”

That is his flaw.” Mark nods slowly. “And his bloodline?” I feel that old fire burn hotter. “It ends,” I say. “Right there. In the open. Where everyone can see what happens when you cross me.”

My first line of warriors had mostly shifted, some others choosing to fight the rogues in human form. I ran past three rogues, taking each of them down easily. The first two were killed with a swipe of my claw to their throat. The kills were quick. Since I had approached from the side, they did not know that I was stalking them and was able to kill them quickly without so much as a whimper from them. The third rogue had turned to attack but Rollo clamped down on his neck, easily ending his life.
