Nobody knows what he looks like since few have ever lived after encountering him, his reputation violent and messy. He never shows up to these events despite receiving the invitations. Most alphas would prefer him as a business partner rather than an enemy.

I feel a wave of panic wash over me as I realised I'm completely at his mercy. Suddenly, I hear a faint noise coming from outside the room. It sounds like a silent and cautious sound of footsteps. Roger's head snaps up, his ears perked up like a wolf on high alert. "What was that?" He asked me as if I had been the one who had been satisfying my useless fetish by sleeping with virgin wolves and powerless omegas. I try to play dumb, but Roger's grip on my wrists tightens. "Don't lie to me," he snarls. "I know someone's out there."

Roger said, reaching him and putting his hand on Kendrick’s shoulder. “Good. You just need to talk sometimes. I know that’s tough for you.” Kendrick said to him with a smile. “I’m sorry brother.” Roger said softly, stepping into him for a hug. Kendrick went to hug him back but at the last minute Roger grabbed Kendrick’s neck and with one swift motion jerked his head to the side. A loud bone snapping crack radiated around them. In that one quick minute Roger snapped his neck. Kendrick didn't even have a chance to fight back. Roger let go of Kendrick and Kendrick’s body hit the cold hard ground, the sound bouncing off the walls of the alley.

“What a shame.” Roger walked up to me with a twinkle in his eye and proceeded to investigate my scalp by pulling hair left and right. “What are you doing?” I asked as I swatted his hand away. “Looking for antennas,” he giggled. “Asshole,” I giggled back. “I always knew that you were different,” he replied teasingly. “I just never knew how much.” “You might not think this is so funny when they come for you and there’s no one there to protect you,” Dr. Mokena said.

A tall man appeared behind the door with a small smile curving his lips upwards. "Sorry for interrupting. But we thought it best if we checked on your progress, sir," the man said. He smiled brightly at me, but I could immediately tell by his cold blue eyes that there was no warmth behind the smile. "Who are you?" I demanded angrily as he approached, glancing quickly between the boy and the man with suspicious eyes. He tilted his head slightly, looking confused. "My name is Roger. I am one of the most respected members of the organization and one of the top agents working for the organization, if not the top agent. It's nice to meet you."

The royals were still mingling and discussing when I finally spotted Roger. He was standing near the grand archway, speaking with another man, shaking hands. I didn’t stop to think. I ran straight into him, crashing into his chest. “Please, help me!” I gasped, gripping his arm like it was the only thing keeping me. “They’ll find me! Please!” Roger growled fiercely and drew me behind him, his hair was on end and his teeth began to elongated. I could see the signs of his transformation. “What’s going on?” he growled wildly, “Who’s after you?”
