I don’t know his fucking problem with Alpha Zeke Rossi and his brother, funny because everyone knows them everywhere. The hybrids, the ones whose mother slept with someone outside of the weyr, a werewolf.

I had expected to give more details, but I found that was the only thing I could say before the tension in my heart took my breath away. Oisin glanced to me for a second before he turned back to Phoenix. “I don’t know exactly how it happened. I was handling some invocates before I heard a scream from behind.” Oisin said. His eyes glazed over as if he was recalling an ancient event. “I quickly finished up in my side, and then Roman and I hurried back.” He said. “By the time I arrived it was too late. Rowena was already bent over you and casting the spell.” He said. His lightened mood had darkened further.
