He was around six-foot-three with shaggy dark brown hair, a lean yet muscular build, and a smile that could make any woman weak in the knees. His amazing personality only added to his charm. “Hey, kid,” I replied, knowing how much it bugged him when I called him that. He was only a few months younger than me, but I enjoyed teasing him.

Rory continued, raising her eyebrows with a soft, teasing smile. "You actually look good holding a cigarette while staring like that. You look like a total villain who's ready to ruin people's lives—which happens to be my favorite thing to watch. You know those trending shows on social media? You look just like the leads. The 'Cold, Billionaire Husband!'"

Riley remembered her especially because Amy had helped her learn about their traditions while she was there. “Riley… I’m calling you because I have to tell you something,” Amy said, her voice panicked. “Yes?” Riley’s heart began to race. Whatever this was, it couldn’t be normal. “Riley… I don’t know if you’re planning to come back or not, but I want to tell you something that might make your decision easier,” Amy said. “Amy, please tell me. Why do you sound so nervous?” Riley asked, genuinely worried. “I’m… I’m not in the pack right now. I’m calling you from somewhere else. Please don’t tell anyone here that I called you,” Amy said.

Amy stared at her for a long moment, her voice almost a whisper now. “The last time you glowed like that, you were pregnant with Moon.”

I see the priest shiver in disapproval at my fowl words , from the corners of my eyes. “ My name is Amy….And your wife is standing right here , my love…” she says in a creepily loving way. Something about her face looked familiar , like I have seen her somewhere recently ; however , I could not place my finger on it. “Don’t speak such bullshit…Tell me where is Rosemary?!” I scream at her , completely fuming from not knowing what is going on. She giggles , which is something really odd to do when you in the clutch of an angered king who possesses the power to kill her where she stands.

Kairos like them competitive and independent while I am as Rory Spencer am not, especially myself. Rory is a nepo baby. She does runway shows for some luxurious brands and that's it though she graduated with a business degree from Harvard she never used it.
