I hugged him tightly and his chest vibrated with his deep chuckle "Princess, did you miss me that much" he says and i stand back, slapping his arm I collected the lilies from him "How did you know i was tired of roses” i ask and he shrugs "Call it boyfriend’s intuition” he says and i laugh, we walk in and i put the flowers in a vase, i turned to look at him “Well thank your boyfriend intuition , I can’t take anymore roses, and it got delivered today too” i tell him and he raises his eyebrow

And then suddenly,a man emerges from amoung the crowd with a large bouquet of blood red roses. “Roses are cliché,not my favourite.”I drawl and roll my eyes as he keeps walking to me. “I am not a part of the competition.”He says smoothly. His intruging voice danced in tunes. “Then why the roses?” “It was a gift I promised myself to give you if I met you.”He stretches the flower to me. “As an appreciation of your talent.” How adorable,I thought as my eyes ran over his emarld green suit.There was not a wrinkle in sight.His eyes matched his clothes and his hair matched his brown leather shoes.He looked like he was from one of those families that thought poverty was a myth.

She did not sound at all like she was blaming the man who gave her the flowers. "Gloria…" The man named James immediately turned around and smiled at Gloria. "Gloria, look, this bouquet of roses is all hand-picked by myself. Red ones, yellow ones, and blue ones. There are all kinds of them in there and they are all fresh. I know you love flowers the most. With a quick nod, he rushed to his room. Once inside the roses were quickly put on the stand, where his gaze stuck as he examined each rose. They were unbearably soft and pristine, the eerie black shade one that he had never seen before. Why would he be sent roses? How did the man even find out he liked roses? The clock ticked by as he stared at them in wonder, more questions flowing through his brain. He wasn't quite sure how he felt about the entire situation he had managed to get himself into. The demon king was attractive and known to seduce all, but flowers seemed out of character.

And the blush that was barely receding was back again. "I'm not a pretty little flower, Roses are as pretty as they are dangerous."
