Omega's Blessed Curse
The thing didn’t even flinch.
“They don’t bleed!” Gary snarled through the mind link. “It’s like they don’t even have blood anymore!”
I gritted my teeth. This was getting worse by the second. If cutting them, slashing them, or breaking their bones wouldn’t stop them, then we had only one option left, which was to try ripping out their hearts which they were guarding like they knew what we wanted to get out of them.
I moved quickly, dodging another attack before driving my hand straight into the chest of the closest undead. My fingers tore through rotting flesh until I reached something solid, the heart. It wasn’t beating, but it was there. Without hesitation, I yanked it out.
