I muttered to no one as my grip on his blanket tightened. It had only been two weeks since my mate, Ryker Cromwell — the Alpha of one of the strongest packs, The Ethereal, had rejected me as his mate and left his pack to his Beta, Dmitry Vashkov. I’d later found out that during the last battle with neighboring pack, The Night Walkers, he’d been wounded by an ancient sword which caused him to be infected by ‘Mad Wolf’. A rare, mythical disease that would drive wolves mad to the point where they would drink their mate’s blood dry and eat their heart and die upon the realization of what they’d done.

A meteorite could strike the earth, nothing was going to stop me. My disappointment knew no bounds when I felt her body pulled away from mine. I had been so charmed not to have noticed that my Beta bodyguard( he’d come after me when he sensed the panic in my mind), and the two bartenders were also after the rogues. They dragged her away from me. My wolf wailed. Their canines were all bared, ready to rip off the living daylight out of their victim. ‘Hey! What was that?’ Kylian, my bodyguard asked. His brows were tensed.

Apart from the teeth, the fur and the yellow eyes, it was still Oscar. "Karen!" He growled, and I tried to grab on to him, but he was too big. Realising his size was too big, he shifted back to himself. The fur teeth and yellow eyes were gone, and I grabbed him and turned him to lay on his back, but he sat up instead. I began to ride his c*ck. I watched his eyes shift from yellow to blue. His wolf was going crazy. He suckled my n**ples and licked them. I bent backwards slight and turned my head up with my eyes closed to make the feeling more intense. I was in a different world. I was dripping wet all over him, and he was helping me grind him.

Adalwolf It was dark and I was alone this time . But in a way, I could scent her . She was close . I tried to look for her but as her scent drew closer, I saw nothing again . I could feel the deep loneliness . My wolf howled in sorrow . She left me . My other half . My anchor . Then another female wolf came . She was different . Her fur was black with splotches of white . I recognized her but I still could not bring the name to mind .

A few that were approaching them screamed and screeched and became a pile of dust. As I observed my surroundings I realised that it was time to let the beast out. I ripped off my skin releasing my wolf. My eyes turned ice blue as I howled at the moon, sending a message to all the alphas to join me outside. My wolf looked at the witch, staring deep into her eyes feeling dominant whist Simba waited for backup. A swarm of wolves came out from the packhouse and waited behind me, ready for some action. They were all growling with their fronts lowered down, ready

Lucy nodded in Naomi’s direction. “Well, as if having kids wasn’t scary enough.” Naomi joked “I have to go and have a special one with a target on his back” Lottie’s wolf made a growl deep in her chest. “Apologies but that was my wolf and I agreeing that they will put a target on Alex over my dead body. I have a duty to him, and I take it very seriously. Also, I’d be lost without his little hugs” she said smiling softly.

Alpha Bladen POV In that instant, the world collapsed into noise. Steel rang against steel, flesh tore flesh. The forest screamed with bodies and fury as Crestfallen closed in from every direction, their trap snapping shut around us like iron jaws. I tore forward, claws carving through soil as I slammed into the nearest wolf. His weight barely slowed me before I drove him down, teeth finding his throat, ripping soundlessly as another lunged from the side. I twisted, pain flaring along my ribs as claws grazed me, the two of us slamming the floor hard on impact. I shoved back with my shoulder, sending him crashing into a tree hard enough to splinter bark.

I was drawn to him with an inexplicable force that made my heart stumble. He stepped closer, lowering himself to my height. A fleeting smile ghosted across his lips. “So you’re the girl hiding in the woods,” he said, his voice low and rasped. “I’ve heard the rumors, the black wolf that haunts the full moon.” I said nothing. My voice unused for years, maybe I've forgotten how to speak. I only stared. “No need to fear, my dear,” he murmured. “While they see disaster, I see potential. I am Alpha Xareth Morryn. Alpha of Crimson Dusk.”

Left with no other choice, I resigned to my last option. “I Yves Lopez accept your rejection Jake Smith” The pain I’d felt previously due to Jake’s rejection was nothing compared to my acceptance of it. He must have felt it too as he stopped abruptly, pulling away from me while clawing at his head, his eyes changing their color. I knew his wolf was surfacing and then using whatever little strength I had left, I crawled to the bathroom and shut the door.

I felt a wave of power and understanding pass through me, as if he were trying to communicate in some way, and I felt an inexplicable connection with that wolf. "ROXY... My name is Roxy. It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Eleanor. For a long time, they tried to keep us apart, but I survived, just like you!" Her soft voice resonated in my mind, and I almost stumbled again, surprised. How did she know my name? Her paws were injured and her fur, dirty and matted, indicated that she had been imprisoned in that filthy cave for a long time, without light, water, or food. I approached slowly, touching her nose and stroking her fur, which despite being dirty, was incredibly soft.
