Claimed By My Mate's Step-Uncle

Claimed By My Mate's Step-Uncle

I only felt the burning, obsessive need to see Bane Blackwood stripped of his pride. "Get the car," I commanded. The Grey Marsh was a place where the modern world died. The air was thick with the smell of sulfur and decaying vegetation. We walked through the knee-deep fog until we reached a shack that looked like it was being swallowed by the earth. Inside, the Liminal Broker was a thing of nightmares—shriveled, ageless, and smelling of copper. She didn't look up as we entered. She was busy grinding something in a bowl made from a wolf’s skull.

The Alpha's Dragon

The Alpha's Dragon

“And make sure your next batch doesn’t fall short.” When he turned away, Glacy whispered, voice shaking, “Yes, my lord.” That night, she scrubbed Tilly’s blood from the marble until her hands blistered. Her wolf stirred inside her, restless and howling, but she kept it caged. She couldn’t afford emotion here. In Cumoreen, weakness was the easiest way to die. Outside, thunder rolled across the skies. The city glowed faintly under the phosphorescent moss that grew along the towers, casting everything in eerie green. The streets were quieter now. No slaves and no noise, just the wind.

Blackwater Val

Blackwater Val

Katie giggled at the phrase, as she did almost every time. Glee saw them out, clicking on the light so they wouldn’t trip in the darkness. The air had turned damp, and the encroaching shadows chilly after the warmth of day. A gigantic black moth flitted around the burning porch light. “See you dark and early!” Glee called after them with a pleasant wave. They both waved back. Glee Deadmond glanced perplexed for a moment at the peculiar black moth before closing her front door and shutting the light off several seconds later.

The Ruthless Alpha Queen.

The Ruthless Alpha Queen.

Pale, lifeless bodies that once possessed the lively glow of happiness and festive celebration were carefully heaved out of the Brookers' home. An invisible but palpable cloud of gloom and peril seemed to hover above the Silver Moon's territory. Even the sun seemed to mourn the loss of the Silver moon, as the morning was densely cloudy but without rain.

The House Beneath the Blood Moon

The House Beneath the Blood Moon

“Sorry, we’re fresh out of miracles. You new in town?” “Yeah. I moved into the Varyn House.” His grin evaporated. “You’re living there?” “Temporarily,” I said. “Unless the roof kills me first.” He hesitated, then bagged my things and added a flashlight. “On the house,” he said. “For when the lights go out.” “Why does everyone keep saying that?” He didn’t answer. If ghosts could have favorite hangouts, Willow Creek’s library would be it. Old wood, creaky floors, the smell of dust and time.

My Gangster Babysitter

My Gangster Babysitter

He flashed us a cryptic smile. I gulped hard, eyeing the house. It looked truly haunted, occupying a significant space on the side of the dock. The windows and walls looked as though they had been forgotten through time. Giant bats and gargoyles manned the threshold and roof. “We can choose another booth,” Liam said when I kept eyeing the house. Shaking my head, I tugged him back when he was about to leave. “No,” I stated. “Let’s go. This is perfect.”

Another great book in this series. I highly recommend the entire series, including this book. I wish there were a few more chapters or an epilogue. You should definitely read book 3 before this, if not 1, 2, and 3.

Hidden Celestial Maiden

Hidden Celestial Maiden

DuchessLucia
I immediately ran to Griselda's room, but my body was unable to move when a large round red eyes that was as big as the moon peeked on the window. When his eyes found mine, it was then the house was destroyed. It was a darkrai. Much bigger than the one back then in the mountain. I felt my body trembled realizing that Griselda is still in the house, but when I turn my gaze on my back it was all shattered. The house was gone. Griselda, where's Griselda and Jake? I stepped back when the darkrai stepped his leg forward, his eyes were like a burning red wine. It was totally a bloodsucking eyes, how did it get here?

The War of Canneti

The War of Canneti

A handsome three tiered concrete dome rose in the distance, blazing white in the blatant morning sun. A lawn stretched out in front where a fountain was playing in the center. Gravel crackled beneath his feet as Broot dashed towards the front door. A tiny dwarf bowed down and flung the gate opes as Broot waved his hand to enter. The hallway was large, lines of dusty portrait of look alike goblins adorned the walls, the stone floor was covered in a moth eaten carpet. A rank smell of decay hung in the air. The hallway ended and a heavy door blocked his path. He took a deep breath and turned the stone handle. The room was dark and full of dwarfs sitting at a long stone table. At the far end of

Shadowed Creatures

Shadowed Creatures

My home. A kneel on the ground, my hands lying flat on the blackened earth. My vision going blurry with unshed tears as I realise what this place was once. I place my hand to my cheeks as the first tear falls from my eyes. I watch in awe as it slips from my finger tip and hits the ground. My newly acquired mark on my back began to heat painfully against my skin, my vision clouding and a deafening scream rings out through my head. I can feel the mark on my back flare with heat and my head feels as if it will split into two. The feel of flames snake there way through my body and into my mind, I hold my head as the noise continues. The ruined home disappears from view and is replaced with a bea
