She felt very small. Up ahead, she saw a house. But it did not look like a normal house. It was not made of wood. It was not made of bricks. It was made of black glass. The glass was dark and shiny. The house looked like a giant box of shadows sitting on the cliff. There were no trees around it. There were no flowers. There was only the black glass and the gray sky. I immediately ran to Griselda's room, but my body was unable to move when a large round red eyes that was as big as the moon peeked on the window. When his eyes found mine, it was then the house was destroyed. It was a darkrai. Much bigger than the one back then in the mountain. The interior of the cabin was much larger than she had expected with high, slanted ceilings and burnished wooden floors. It would have been light and airy if not for the Gothic decor, everywhere were intricately carved ornaments and furniture, depicting demonic figures and scenes. The thick drapes were drawn, completely blocking any light from entering and painting the inside of the house in shadows. Ornate lamps, placed throughout the room, were the only source of light but even they, struggled to dispel the gloom.
