She fished her phone out of her pajama pocket and clicked into a dog shop online, searching for a suitable puppy house for the puppy beneath her.

"You said you wanted a big dog." "Not now. I'm on the run." She lifted a photo of an Alaskan malamute and gasped. Underneath it lay a picture of a house. A large, two-story, white-framed house with a big front porch and a white picket fence. Prominently displayed in the front yard was a For Sale sign. Her dream house.

This is the dream house. "Do you like this house, Luke?" "I like it, it's not like our house over there. I like it here Mom, playing with the fish and watching—" He showed the puppy in the cage. There was a pair of them, cute and Luke asked me to free him from the cage. They are docile and very adorable. We ran around, laughing and chasing each other.

~Missy’s Point of View~ I was standing in front of a huge fire. I looked all around and there were pups with marshmallows and hot dogs on sticks chasing each other. There were even a few puppies around, actual four legged ones. Hollow Hill rarely had any actual pets, since they tend to not like witches and can be easy food for vamps desperate for a quick snack. “Welcome to my humble home,” Ryan said, coming up behind me. He had a huge smile on his face and he was obviously proud. His happiness radiated through me.

“It’s nine-fifty a month which is about three twenty a piece. Is that much more than you planned for?” I sighed in relief. “Actually a little cheaper. I was going to pay four hundred a month with my other roommate. It was the apartments down on Dove Creek.” Jordan chuckled. “I know that place. It’s quieter here for sure, they have parties there every other weekend, and the landlord is gone a lot.” Jordan gave me the side eye. “Where you from?” he asked. It’d be yours, but it’d have plenty of space to run around.”

It started crying. "Okay, I won't. But I don't know what to do with you. I've never had a dog before, let alone a pet." "Woof woof." "Do you actually understand me though?" It laid down. "Guess not." I continued caressing it. "You're actually really cute." I smiled to myself. "But I can't keep you here with me. You're a wolf, you need a lot of space and my house is small. It'll be cruel to keep you here."

It was a small mercy. “So, what kind of place do you have in mind?” He asked, breaking the comfortable silence between us. “ A nice condo in a decent area. Something bigger than the one I’m in currently, possibly two rooms” I turned to him. “Enough place to start over.” “Two bedrooms? Exactly how much stuff do you have?” He laughed, amused. I bit my bottom lip. A habit I hadn’t bothered to hide. “I’m not quite there yet. I’m actually thinking of getting a puppy”
