Memories of how I watched my parents get killed by Vogar. Moving away from the huge portrait on my wall, the door that was shut for a long time appeared before me. I slid the key into its lock and undid it. The door opened and I walked in. Talking in a deep breath, I turned on the wizards - my technology that has the power to find anyone or anything. The screens and lights came up. And it appeared in the air for me - Red Eyes - my powerful technology. “Hi, Red Eyes.” “Hi, Alpha. Good to have you back. What should I do for you?” He asked in his robotic tone. “Find my Luna, Freya. Start by tracking her phone and then her location.”

Telling me to read it. My Dearest Ella, I am gone. I know that for sure. Lilith’s life and my life have been bonded together since we were children. That is the only way that the Sisters were able to bring Lilith back the first time. Part of her soul resided in my own. It was a tricky bit of magic her mother placed upon us when she found me. But that is a story for another time. Do not be sad or mourn for me. I lived an amazing life and had more adventures than I care to remember. Tell James that he will forever be in my heart and watch out for Walter for me. He is too stubborn to make it on his own. Pretend to read his tea leaves from time to time and speak in riddles to keep him

He just nodded. “Zelda is aware too, Luna. She is testing you. Madame Zelda is known for her tricks. She will tell you what you want to know only if you defeat her tricks. And the Red Forest is maintained by Madame Zelda Amanita.” Baspo said. I let it absorb. That witch was quite a thing. We left the bushes and stood over the edge. The ground ended here. It was sloppy terrain from here onwards. The sky was red. The ground was red. But everything else had colors. All of them.

Ryan lunged desperately, only to get shoved into the mud. Zelda froze in place, muttering blankly, "Gilbert... the Gilbert heir... What have I done..." Refugees stared with disdain and curiosity, offering no aid. I lay in the comfortable embrace of the five-star hotel suite, the temperature perfectly regulated. Through the tablet that Marco had handed me, I watched the live feed. On the screen, Zelda borrowed a phone and frantically dialed Karl. When the call finally connected, she spoke urgently. "Mr. Rice, help me! I offended the Gilbert..."

“I’m leaving.” Before I could stop her, she turned and walked out. Zelda scoffed. “Are we really trusting her?” “Pete,” I said, not looking away from the door she’d exited through, “escort Zelda out of the pack house.” I was done with her shenanigans, “and I mean now” “What—? Aiden!” she snapped. “You know you need me!” “Then stop making this difficult!” My voice cracked through the hall. Zoro stepped forward. “Alpha… Miss Zelda was crucial in the last war. She can help.”

Zelda's voice whispered through our mind link as she squatted before me, setting the tray down and lifting the cup. "Please, take it," she begged, her voice a soft plea. "I can't, this reeks of wolfsbane, James," I retorted, my gaze piercing through him as he stood near the entrance. "Drink it, you imbecile, unless you want to see your precious mate suffer," James threatened, well aware of my powerlessness within the confines of this wretched dungeon. My fingers brushed against Zelda's as I controlled the cup to my lips, ready to comply, but James's next words halted my action.

I screamed as I immediately stood back up but Iago dragged me back down. "Bow, Alpha Lucian," he said again and this time, it sounded like he was being mind controlled to say all of these. "Listen to your beta, Alpha Lucian," Queen Zelda said as he flew from her horse and landed lightly on the ground. As her legs touched the ground, all the zombies immediately went on their knees and bowed down to her as they growled with deep raspy voices. I looked around me and was immediately disgusted by all that I was seeing in front of me. I looked up at Queen Zelda with red eyes.

Freshly fifteen and post-coming-of-age, she still wore her silver wolf-ear studs from the lunar ceremony. Her pure cedar pheromones, mark of royal lineage, softened on Adelaide's approach, her eyes brimming with curiosity. Having heard omega's chatter about Adelaide's presence, Zelda rushed to meet her. She hadn't expected to find her mother and Adelaide at odds. Adelaide looked up and met Princess Zelda's gaze. "Princess Zelda, hello." "Gamma Adelaide? Is it really you, Gamma Adelaide?" Zelda, delighted to find Adelaide in person, helped her up. "You're the Southern Border hero!"
