He focused his stare on Riftan's sleeping figure and glared with contempt. Suddenly, out of the corner of the window came Ruby. She walked aimlessly towards the corner and caught him staring at the Alpha's body. Dreyar was stunned for a second. He attempts to wave his hands at her, only to realize that the woman's emerald eyes are already riveted towards him. He paused for a minute before she brings her fingers to her neck, gesturing a swift, horizontal slice. The male was petrified. Ruby then wrapped Riftan with blankets and, once again, looked back at the windows to taunt Dreyar.

It was impossible to calm her down. "Quix," Ruby gasped as she stared at her fellow reaper. Her eyes were red by this point and her skin grew pale. "Run, don't let him do this to you," she begged before she screamed again. Her screams built in crescendo as she fell on the ground and thrashed a final time before going still.
