When Love Was A Lie

When Love Was A Lie

The silence wasn't peaceful; it was a held breath. Soren Vane was waiting for us in the center of the Cultural Autonomy Council garden. He wasn't hiding. He was sitting on a stone bench, looking at the restored stars. "You turned it off, Eleanor," Soren said as we approached. He didn't look like a villain. He looked like a man who had won a bet. "Six hours of silence. The world felt the hand of the Richard CEO on its throat. How did it feel to have the 'God-Eye' open?"

His Silent Possession

His Silent Possession

Cassian snapped, though his voice dropped slightly. Selene walked back to her desk and glanced down at her cell phone, which was sitting face-down right next to her laptop. Reaching out, she turned it over and tapped the screen. The screen lit up with a long list of missed calls from Cassian and his marketing staff. At the very top, the small icon of a slashed bell showed that the phone was still set to total silence. She had turned the volume off two hours ago, wanting to drown out every single thought of him with work.

The Rogue Healer's Secret

The Rogue Healer's Secret

"For now." One by one, they crossed the threshold. Killian entered first, followed closely by Seraphina with Aiden's hand held firmly in hers. Leo trotted proudly beside the young prince. Nyxar followed next, then Noctis, Fenrir, Freya, Kael, Orion, Selene, and the remaining Guardians. As the last of them stepped inside, the doorway folded shut. The roaring wind of the dying world vanished, replaced by a deep, embracing silence. The Sanctuary was unlike anything they had ever imagined. There were no grand castles, no ancient temples, and no towering walls.

THE SILENT LUNA

THE SILENT LUNA

The current finding its course. The water finding its level. And Sera— at the center of it, not leading, not directing, not compressing just present. Just working. Just herself in a room worth saving, with people worth finding, doing work that would outlast every silence that had ever tried to bury it. Still Waters. Rising still. Rising always. For as long as there were people running deep who needed to know they were not alone. THE SILENT LUNA Volume Two begins.

Rejected and Banished: Claimed by the Lycan King

Rejected and Banished: Claimed by the Lycan King

LYRA The silence frightened me more than the screams. A moment ago, the sanctuary had been collapsing around us. Stone had shattered. Warriors had shouted. The mountain had groaned beneath the weight of something ancient. Now… Nothing. Not even the wind. It was as though the sanctuary itself had stopped breathing. Behind us, Serena stood in the middle of the ruined chamber. Darkness coiled around her feet like living smoke before disappearing beneath her skin. One half of her face remained the woman I had always known.

SoulBound: Chosen by Darkness

SoulBound: Chosen by Darkness

15 — Sanctuary, Briefly The sanctuary breathed like a thing trying not to be noticed. Candlelight steadied in glass jars along the walls. Footsteps softened themselves on old boards. Voices learned to stay low, not because anyone had ordered them to, but because the quiet had become a kind of shared language.

THE GRAVE OF GREY AND GOLD

THE GRAVE OF GREY AND GOLD

"He has a gold mine in his bed and he treats it like a pebble. My pack needs that bridge, Elara. We need the human trade routes. If you build it for us, I’ll give you the one thing Roman never could." "Love?" I mocked. "Anonymity," Silas countered. "A place where the 'Voice' stops. A sanctuary where you can spend your final days as a woman, not a Luna." I looked back toward the Crescent Estate, where the lights were flickering in the distance. [Arlo’s Voice]: [A faint, cruel whisper] ...wish she’d just stay in the human world... It’s quieter when she’s not here... I turned back to Silas and handed him the blueprints. My fingers brushed his, and for the first time in eight years, my mind was

The Silent Goodbye

The Silent Goodbye

"I'm all set. Let's head back." She nodded, tucked her phone away, and just like that, the smile on her face disappeared completely. She slid into the car without a word, her expression blank as she waited for him. The drive was silent. Not a word passed between them. When the car reached the entrance of Yvonne's Diner, Benjamin got out. Nissa did not follow. She drove off toward a nearby parking lot. Zachary stood outside the restaurant, arms crossed, watching. He noticed Benjamin staring after Nissa's car and gave a cold snort. "Dude, what are you trying to pull here, acting all sentimental now?"

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Sophia We walk in silence, the sounds of the forest enveloping us. The crunch of leaves beneath our feet, the distant call of an owl, the soft whisper of the wind through the trees—these are the only noises that fill the air between us. Yet, the silence isn’t empty. It’s thick, almost alive, vibrating with all the things left unsaid, all the emotions neither of us is willing to voice.

Black Dwarf
The storyline has been good so far. ML & FML character development were good though it was stretchy between 70 and 100 - too much repetition and back & forth. Updates are frequent. I look fwd to author completing the story and me finish reading it which doesn’t happen often. I provided my support.
Sirena Mares
Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.
