Winter's Sun - A Billionaire's Revenge

Winter's Sun - A Billionaire's Revenge

What the fuck is wrong with me? I pick at the salad in front of me. It’s some kind of mesclun green, dark purple and green. Frisee lettuce, baby spinach. Candied nuts. Blue cheese. Balsamic glaze. Fancy salad. The kind that I love but my appetite has taken a sudden hit by the foolishness of my own words. He’s going back and forth between eating his salad and studying me like I’m an animal in a zoo. Maybe he’s wondering what is going on through my head.

Mommy, Where Is Daddy? The Forsaken Daughter's Return

Mommy, Where Is Daddy? The Forsaken Daughter's Return

They all felt the three pieces of which that were on their plates were not enough. When the salads were served, more compliments were given to the surprisingly new flavor of the green dish. At the table where the engaged couple sat, Annie Davis could not help but observe, "I don't remember the salad to have watermelon on it. Do you, Clay?" After swallowing down his salad, Clayton answered, "No, even the sauce seems different. It tasted more... creamy and just a little sweet. They probably made some changes, but I like it." "Oh, it's actually a good contrast to the earlier dish," remarked a good friend from the Brown family, Belinda Lopez. She was a columnist at the Braeton Daily and also kno

The series is so good. I often found myself smiling end to end No extended drama, no offensive male lead or a weak female lead The stories are so pure and fun to read. I am so glad that I found you author ...️ Looking forward for the next book of yours...

After reading some disappointing novels lately, I’m so glad I stumbled with this and it has turned to be my favorite one. I just feel so happy reading it. No unnecessary dragging plots and main characters are smart and know how to communicate. Thrilled to know that it’s a series as well.

Seven Days

Seven Days

Your voice was muffled, but still managed to let out a soft laugh as you spoke. "The pancakes in your mouth! Disgusting!" I complained, but you only laughed as an answer. We both know how much I don't like seeing the mashed food from the mouth because it often makes me wanna vomit when I am eating at the same time. "But you need to finish up too. We're going to start the messages later," you reminded as you let out a soft laugh. Right. The sixth day was meant for making and filming messages for what you said are sort of a last message in case someone got to leave without giving a proper goodbye.

said Sasha. I nodded, taking the advice under advisement as I attempted to make the chunks of lettuce look like they should. It just looked more like a jumbled mess to me. “I’m certain there’s already a premixed salad in there, if that’s what you want. If not, we could call Mrs. Fields back.” Anya looked annoyed at the suggestion. “She’s already left for the day, and we’re not going to call her back to make salad. It’s simple. You’ll pick it up in no time.”

The Reluctant Billionaire (The Hudson Brothers Series 1)

The Reluctant Billionaire (The Hudson Brothers Series 1)

“All right.” “Great,” he said with a hint of victory in his tone. Twenty minutes later, Selena and Trevor sat across from each other at a round table in a sunroom. The windows showed part of the landscaping of the estate. The leaves were turning various colors of the rainbow. The grass was pale green. The sun shined bright, but not beaming. Selena wasn’t expecting a decadent four course lunch. The first course had been a shrimp salad. The second course had been a clam chowder soup. Now, they were eating cracked crab and mixed vegetables.

Seven Days of Goodbye

Seven Days of Goodbye

Dead on impact. The Reaper felt bad for me—said I didn't deserve to go out like that. Gave me seven days. One last shot to say goodbye. When I came back, it was already dark. I kept thinking—I wish I had wings. Maybe they were waiting. But under the moonlight, as I got closer, I saw through the dining room window— Alex, sitting between my parents. Brian and Ruby, side by side. Red wine. Fancy food. Everyone dressed like they were starring in a holiday ad.

The Billionare's Pretend Wife

The Billionare's Pretend Wife

I told him. “She talks about you all the time.” The waitress came by with two tall glasses of foamy amber liquid and set them in front of us. “Do you know what you’d like?” she asked. I knew the menu by heart, and the waitress jotted my order on a notepad. “The salmon salad for me,” Jeff said. “I gotta watch out for my heart these days.” When the waitress left, he frowned at me. “How you doin’? Really.” “Me? I’m fine. Great. I’m so busy, you know—”

The True Luna's Mark

The True Luna's Mark

Since it didn’t seem like they were close to being finished, I hoped I could escape before my skin felt like it was on fire and I developed rashes over my body. “It is really good. I never thought to try a salad like this, but I think I will ask the kitchen to make it more often.” Luna Audrey remarked as she munched on a bite of her salad. Leaning forward, I slowly reached for my fork and couldn’t help but look across the table at Axel. He was staring at me with an intensity that made me feel uncomfortable. My throat already felt like it was closing, so I put my fork down and grabbed the glass of water by my plate.

I am so in love with this book! The story is very well written and the characters are highly developed. What I have been enjoying the most about this story, is for everything that is happened Stormie, she still continues to survive, grow, be independent, finds her weaknesses and strengthens them.

Royal Days

And just when I was about to do just that ,it was already too late because the guards were standing right there in front of us. I gulped but tried by all means to relax "Who are you two and what are you doing here?"The tallest of the two men asked ,his eyes moving strictly between me and Denise "Hello Sir ,my name is Denise and this is my friend Annie"Denise smiled as she introduced us. How was she so calm?"And we know that after every party or function here at the palace, the leftovers are issued out to the poor so that is why we are here....for the food"

Twenty-Eight Days Too Late

But now, reading them again, his heart pounded faster and faster. The hollow panic in his chest was growing, and he couldn't ignore it anymore. "Papa Dan, why aren't you eating?" Theo tilted his head, confused. Dan forced a smile. "Papa's not hungry, buddy." Valerie noticed his distraction and reached across to take his hand. "Are you still upset with Lynn? Honestly, she went too far this time—having her own daughter play dead just to guilt you. It's so cruel." The more she spoke, the more unsettled Dan felt. He stood abruptly.
