Sam smirked, still not trusting herself to do much more than open her eyes at her rescuers. “I’m.. ah...I’m sorry.” Alex stuttered, looking at her, her eyes drawing him in. Never before had he felt an energy from anyone like this before. Her eyes seemed to glow, drawing him in. “Are you okay?” “Oh sure.” Sam retorted, closing her eyes, flipping her hand dismissively at him. “I always lay in my own blood in the mud.” She opened her eyes, batting them as she smiled at him, “It’s great for the pores ya know.” She extended her bloodied hand towards him, “The name is Sam, Sam Collins.”

Samantha fired, while munching a cupcake. “Samantha, stop! I'm not here to pick up a fight. This is your day, enjoy it without any drama,” she cried. Samantha laughed. She could see Anna and Hailey smiling from where they sat, arranging the gifts. “Here, your baby's present,” Sasha said angrily as she handed the gift over to her and walked out. Samantha smirked and opened the gift which was a small blue teddy bear. “I've never trusted her around sir Ryker,” Anna voiced out.

Sam had been nothing but amazed at how gentle Jax had been with Noah – and not just Jax. Sam’s attention turned to the mountain of a man holding a stack of baseball cards in his massive hand. Sam had seen plenty of rough types in the E.R., numerous genuinely terrifying people with seriously-worrying reputations – but Matt ‘King’ Kingston took the proverbial cake. By a goddamn mile.

{SAMANTHA’S POV} Samantha raced the BMW on the outskirts of Boston, Sam in the passenger seat beside her, heading along the highway towards Salem. She was increasingly annoyed at the growing difficulty in finding his dad. She’d been sure, when she’d seen those Facebook messages, when Sam had told her with such excitement that he’d been in touch with him, that this would be easy. She would just take him to his dad’s house, and from there it would be a direct path to the sword.
