I asked. He turned to face me. “Training.” I blinked. “Training?” “You want revenge,” he said. “You won’t survive long with what you can do right now.” “I’m an omega,” I said. “I don’t have strength like the others. I don’t have anything special.” “But you’re willing,” he said. “That’s enough to start with.” He walked to the rack and grabbed two wooden swords. He tossed one to me and I caught it awkwardly. It felt too light to matter.

I could see Julian falling too, his body convulsing as the bond was forcibly stretched. Through the haze, I saw the stone doors of the chamber blow inward. Silas stepped through the smoke, followed by four men in tactical gear. He didn't look like a priest or a CEO; he looked like a reaper. He held a long, silver needle that hummed with the sound of a thousand screaming souls. "Dr. Valerius," Silas said, stepping over Julian’s prone body. "You always were a messy surgeon. You can't cut a soul with steel."

“Drink.” Xavier doesn’t move, his breaths come out short and ragged and I can hear how fast his heart is pounding. Samael lowers himself down to one knee and forces Xavier to look him in the eyes, “drink it willingly, or drink it forcefully, it makes no difference to me.”

I spoke through gritted teeth as I watched Xereus hold my mate captive. During the insanely long period of meditating and getting immersed in the healing process, Samantha had not fed for the entire time nor drunk even a drop of water. So I let her go for a hunt while I gathered firewood. However, the devil’s presence in the sacred area, or rather breached area, alerted my senses but too late. Xereus smirked before drawing out his claws and digging them deep in my kneeling mate’s scalp before he replied, “You killed my lover. It is only fair that I kill yours, Arrow,” he shrugged before digging his claws even deeper in Samantha’s scalp.

But I couldn’t afford to give in to that. Suddenly, a sharp laugh broke through the silence, piercing the tension in the air. Lady X stepped out from the shadows, her eyes glinting with that same cold, calculating look I had come to recognize all too well. There she was, always lurking, always waiting for the perfect moment to strike. "I see the great Alpha Ryu has claimed you, Samantha," Lady X purred, her voice dripping with venom. Her gaze flickered over me, then back to Ryu. "But don’t think for a second that you’ll ever be good enough for him."

Kenzo Harusame laughed abruptly and said, “You don’t have to provoke me. Now that I’m here, there's no way for me to go home empty-handed.” As soon as he said that, Kenzo leaped down from the top of the deck. He then jumped into one of the speedboats below. “Samurai of the Harusame family! Listen to my order! All of you! Let’s kill all the enemies and set Holy Tiger free!” “Yes!”

If that kind of power was used against the people, who’s going to stop it? Sierra always knew that Xion was very clever, probably more than normal persons, and also a little paranoid, so she smacked her lips impatiently. “Geez, you just can’t trust people without questioning them, huh?” Xion smirked a little, making his face looked cocky, but also charming, “Yeah, it’s what makes me stay alive this long.” “Fine,” Sierra sighed, “I’m the bearer of True Blessing of the Sun. Happy?” She snarled the last word impatiently, as if she already forgotten that secret, but now she was reminded again.

He then smiled at Maxim’s face like a maniac. “As much as I don’t want to hurt your pet, I still need to kill you. Pardon me.” SHING! The two swordsmen clashed once more as the griffin screeched, trying to peck at Samuel’s leg. Samuel kicked her face while protecting his side from the attack of Maxim. Maxim was a bit crafty. The white aura slithered like a snake and charged toward Samuel. His aura was similar to Samuel’s yellow-ish snake but more cunny and fierce than Maxim's. It instantly cut the neck off the snaking white aura.

Fear coils in my belly as Xavier staggers toward him to finish him off, and I panic- I spring forward, intent on getting in between them. Someone beats me to it, though. Sam. He lunges at Xavier, catching him by surprise before he can reach Brock to deliver the killing blow. Xavier falters, but recovers quickly, flicking Sam off like a bug and sending him careening into the wall beside Brock. I cringe as his body hits with a thud, then slides down to the floor. I grit my teeth, ready to launch myself at Xavier- but just then, our backup arrives.
