Aria’s POV “You are awake.” The voice drifted from behind me, calm yet firm. I turned, and my eyes landed on her. Sierra-de-Luna. She stood tall, her figure graceful and commanding, her brown eyes gleaming like polished stones. Her hips swayed naturally with her steps, her curly hair tumbling down her shoulders, and her light complexion glowing in the soft light of the room. She was dressed in a loose white silk nightgown that whispered against the floor as she moved.

Warriors frozen mid-leap, their silver armor turning brittle and shattering as the Syndicate soldiers moved in with heavy hydraulic hammers. "No!" I slammed my fist against the console. "They’re using our own environment against us!" From the command deck of the drill, a figure emerged. Sarah stood on the observation platform, protected by a dome of Null-Glass. She was wearing a headset, her face twisted in a smirk of pure, vengeful triumph.

“You’re willing to sacrifice your life?” “Yes.” She tilted her head. “Then would you sacrifice your bond?” My breath caught. “What?” “You swore you would do whatever I asked. So I ask you this—will you unbind your soul from hers and deceive the spirits of balance?” My chest constricted. “No.” “Then she dies,” Saria said flatly. I shook my head, furious. “There has to be another way.” “There isn’t.” “There always is!” Saria narrowed her eyes. “Even now, you defy what’s already written in the stars.”

He was an Alpha right, so how couldn't he see the aura radiating from her was nothing less than pure evil and diabolical vibes.
