Silent Amour

Silent Amour

Eryx paused, clearly affected by what Alex had said. “Trying to fix a relationship that’s meant to fall apart is absurd,” Eryx replied, his voice cold as he turned and walked away. Alex understood the deeper meaning behind those words. Eryx wasn’t just talking about someone else—he was also referring to Alex’s situation. Eryx’s words were sharp, but there was truth in them. Sometimes, though, the only way to know is by giving it a try.

On The Verge Of It

On The Verge Of It

They used to end so badly that it made the people to go into depression. My friends used to tell me that relationships are like condoms. They can break. I used to believe this, until I myself fell in love. I never knew that I would fall in love with a person who could never ever even think about this with me. But the truth is that falling in love gave me a new hope in life. Like I did have emotions in me. Like I wasn't made of stone.

Lies, Secrets and Forbidden Lust

Lies, Secrets and Forbidden Lust

"I'm sorry I just stopped talking to you all of a sudden. I was scared after we kissed that one time. I thought you'd regret it. I thought I was going to lose my friend - you - if I gave into my feelings." "You didn't give into it and you still lost me, Kayden. This shit was years ago!" I argued, holding my head. "But I didn't stop loving you, Lillian!" His voice was hard. His words were raw. My mouth slammed shut as I looked at him in disbelief. "I'm married to your best friend." My voice reduced to a whisper. "Clearly, you're not enjoying the marriage." He spat. "I am!" I yelled, walking up to him.

It's Easy to Fall Out of Love

It's Easy to Fall Out of Love

I exhaled and said, "You should stop this, Bryan. You don't realize it, do you? Right now, you're acting exactly like I used to. But back then, didn't you hate me for it?" His response came fast and urgent. "I didn't—" Didn't act like me? Or didn't hate me? It didn't matter anymore. Because in a one-sided love, the person who doesn't care always stays rational. The one who loves always loses control. And now, the roles had reversed. I no longer loved him. I held the phone close for a moment, then spoke—clearly, firmly. "Bryan, I don't love you anymore." The silence stretched.

The Devil's Silver (The Road Devils Motorcycle Club 2)

But telling them the whole truth was just as inconceivable. So… some truth then. “It was a bad breakup,” Jo told them as she set down her coffee cup. “It was a bad relationship, it was a bad marriage. It was – it was just bad for me. Very much so. The kind of bad that gets people hurt.” They both tensed at her words, looked furious as they picked up on her hints. Jo twisted her hands together and carried on:

TRUTH OR DARE

TRUTH OR DARE

The breakfast table is quiet. We're having heavy breakfast but not as heavy as the tension on the table. Sophia has a little smirk on her face, her eyes playing ping-pong from Damien to me to Damien and then back to me. She bites on a sausage and clears her throat. "Sleeping separately?" She shakes her head. "Don't know much about these kind of things but I know sèx is the glue to a marriage. When you take it off the table, you're screwed. It's sad that divorce is knocking on your door when you should be in the honeymoon phase."

The Scorned Wife Finds Love Again

The Scorned Wife Finds Love Again

She trailed off, but I knew exactly what—or who—she was trying to avoid saying. “You mean Amber,” I said, the name coming out sharper than I intended. The room went silent for a second, and then Mom huffed. “Ever since you two broke up in college, it’s like you’ve forgotten how to have a proper relationship. I don’t understand it.” “You need to get over her,” dad added. “I’ve had relationships,” I argued, though even I knew it sounded weak. “Flings don’t count,” Lilian chimed in, smirking and I shot her a look.

The Fallacy of Love

The Fallacy of Love

He walked to the sofa and sat down and she followed suit. “Were you really planning on moving out? Did you plan to give up on our relationship that easily?” he asked. She sighed deeply and leaned back so that the two were face to face. “I wasn’t giving up on our relationship. I thought you were breaking up with me that night,” she said. “I didn’t say anything to that effect,” he said. “You stopped talking to me then you declared that you have the right of admission in your house. That sounds like a break up to me,” she said.

Dating The Villain

Dating The Villain

Disappointments can be harmful if not communicated well enough. The passage, though not as exact, goes like this, “you cannot expect for your loved one to always be equal to what you can give. The scale is not fifty-fifty all the time, in fact, it is likely more imbalanced most of the time. Sometimes, he or she can only give ten percent for all that is happening outside your relationship. Instead of arguing why he or she cannot fulfill his or her fifty percent, will it not be more ideal to be the whole ninety percent until your loved one regains themselves again?”

THIS. BOOK. DESERVES. A. LOT. OF. VIEWS I admire the author's writing style because the story is well-written. You can easily go with the flow because there are no bothersome errors. The title is catchy and intriguing that makes you want to explore the story itself. Kudos to the author!
Frankie Nero.
Great read. I love how you took your time in character development. Its one of the things I admire in fiction. I also loved the fact that the clichés were minimised. I think I fell in love with Sofia at one point. She's the definition of woman power.
