She watched and could only see the flames of the lantern that was slowly walking away, she sighed and climbed on her bicycle, and rode away. *.* When she got home, she packed her bicycle at the usual spot and began to chain it. She immediately felt that something was touching her neck. She turned and did not see anything. She glanced and saw the scarecrow, looking up at her window. She shrugged and began walking to her door, she thought she heard a rustling sound. She quickly glanced back and saw that the scarecrow was staring at her now. "Jeez!' She flinched and gave it a long stare.

“Give him to me.” “No,” Scarecrow said, his voice only wavering a little. Christ, he had to be really confident about that barrier. Either that, or he’d taken a fistful of Xanax before the phone call. “I’m going to throw this through the doorway.” He reached over and picked something up off the examining table: a collar, much like the one Calder had worn in his cell. “You’ll shift back, and you’ll put it on. Or we will kill this one,” he gestured at me, “right here and now.”

My daughter, Amelia Rossum, comes home with her palm pierced all the way through by a pencil. I drop my mop in a panic, hastily change out of my loungewear, and rush her to the ER. At the hospital entrance, my husband, Benedict Rossum, jumps out of his car and immediately lashes out at me. "How could you let this happen to her?" Our neighbor, Lorelei Bates, trails behind him, holding her daughter's hand. She addresses him gently, "Benedict, don't be so hard on Clarissa. Everyone makes mistakes." He scoffs. "Other mothers can keep their kids safe perfectly fine. What's her excuse? I bet she did this on purpose to guilt me into coming home early!" Amelia recoils and hides behind me. Seei

she continued. I didn’t wait for further directions and headed that way. Sara was right. The library was crammed with books so rare that I didn’t even think they existed. I ran my fingers over them and stopped at the supernatural section. Werewolves. The variety of these books was astonishing. A Hidden History or Under the Full Moon. But the one that caught my attention was The Grim Howl.

A few pack members come bye and talk to us and block our view, suddenly we hear screams and growls. Charlie screams "ABIGAIL!" and I notice all the scarecrows are missing from their spots, Charlie takes off running and comes to a complete stop. I look around and can't believe what I'm seeing. Gabe and Josh are front and center arrows loaded and aimed at the scarecrow that holds Abigail. Chris and Steve have shited and stand in front of their sons growling at the scarecrows. The other children armed with bow and arrows pointed at the others, that surround the one holding our girl. I hear a pack mind link and it's Charlie, "DO NOT LET HIM LEAVE WITH YOUR FUTURE ALPHA." No one. Marcus stepped into the room. He was a massive, scarred man who rarely showed emotion, but right now, his face was pale, and his jaw was locked tight. He quickly closed the double doors behind him and locked them. I stood up slowly, the blood running cold in my veins. What is it?"

Surrounded by them, she looked like some kind of saint in a chaotic world. By contrast, at my side stood only three broken outcasts, abandoned by the pack. I lowered my gaze, examining this newly fused body. Layers of fat wrapped around me. My face was covered in sores and twisted growths. In a pack that valued mates for reproduction and appearance, this body earned me nothing but contempt from every direction. Camilla seemed to enjoy the contrast. Nestled in Soren’s arms, she cast a mocking glance at me through the crowd. I ignored her, turned, and led the three werewolves toward the edge of the camp.

"To the Alchemist Division of the Werewolf Elders' Council: Application to perform the Rite of Severance for a Mate Bond..." After sending it, I opened another screen and booked a private flight off the continent in three days. Destination: The Northern Territories. I heard Clark's study door close downstairs. I lay down on my bed, clearing my mind of all emotion. Go ahead, Clark. Check on your secret room. But you'll never guess that the prey has become the hunter.

Ryan raised the chair in his hands, and with a swift motion, brought it down on me, his eyes cold as they met mine. I was paralyzed by the fear in my eyes, unable to move. "Ah!" The pain shot through me like a jolt of electricity, and I couldn't contain the blood-curdling scream that escaped my lips. My fingers were crushed instantly, mangled and bleeding, as I stared at them in disbelief. The physical pain, sharp and intense, barely compared to the crushing weight in my chest.

****************************************************************** Elena took another journey through another path she saw but somehow she ended up in a more district face, and she became alarmed. She can’t possibly get lost when no one knows that she went out alone, and when she is all alone in a very lonely street in Paris.
