Magnus: Dragon Lord

Magnus: Dragon Lord

Grub said, looking at the multitude of crows that mulled around the rooftops. Rex looked to where he was staring, saw the birds and cocked an eyebrow, “I remember you said something about them going and telling your gods about deeds and such. How do they do that?” “Crows eat the skin for the stories, eat eyes to see what man saw, then pass onto bone god.” Kealy turned to look at Dilo, “But they’re only birds, I don’t get it. Gets eaten by a great bloody snake and thinks nothing of it, but then goes and fears crows like they are going to annihilate him.”

Alpha Braddock

Alpha Braddock

A few pack members come bye and talk to us and block our view, suddenly we hear screams and growls. Charlie screams "ABIGAIL!" and I notice all the scarecrows are missing from their spots, Charlie takes off running and comes to a complete stop. I look around and can't believe what I'm seeing. Gabe and Josh are front and center arrows loaded and aimed at the scarecrow that holds Abigail. Chris and Steve have shited and stand in front of their sons growling at the scarecrows. The other children armed with bow and arrows pointed at the others, that surround the one holding our girl. I hear a pack mind link and it's Charlie, "DO NOT LET HIM LEAVE WITH YOUR FUTURE ALPHA." Some of the scare

I have seriously binged this book all day and I'll be honest. It has some absolutely disgusting, things and twists. And yuck, but it's well written. The characters are amazing. And I love this alpha with her. I can't wait for more.

I am absolutely addicted so far and I can't even unlock chapter 13 .... I love how the writer gave each person's view on the things going on in each part of the book so far. I'll update my review once I've finished the whole book. I'll be praying ... another part 2 comes out after reading it all!!!

THE ALPHA'S CURSED LUNA

THE ALPHA'S CURSED LUNA

Some of them stand in packhouses and call you the reason their mate is dead. And some of them, maybe, are not monsters at all. Just stories. Just fear. But I do not know which story is true. And that might be the scariest part. --- Night falls. The group makes camp in a valley between two mountains. The guards give me more bread and a blanket. I curl up in the corner of the wagon and try to sleep. I cannot. The stories circle in my head like angry bees. He killed ten rogues with his bare hands.

The Legend of The Hybrid

The Legend of The Hybrid

Jones stared at Claire as she whispered, “What happened next?” Suddenly, she was a little girl again. He used to tell her scary stories about werewolves, vampires, fae, and warlocks. May hated it, but he couldn’t say no when his little niece looked up at him with big eyes and asked so politely for a story. He would always stopped at the climax, sighed dramatically, and say that it’s too scary. She would grab his hand and say she wasn’t scared, that she would be brave. She would ask, so excited, “What happened next?”

MOON, FANGS AND DESIRE

MOON, FANGS AND DESIRE

And the loudest warning of them all was; "Do not trust any friendly stranger with pretty eyes." It had been these way for decades, centuries even. Every single child in the town grew up hearing these stories. Unlike other cities where their bedtime stories centers on royal fantasies, and fairies, the bedtime stories they listened to was filled with horror. It was the stories of wolves with glowing eyes, and the shadowy figures that lured you into the trees, only for your screams to echo back hollow, and unanswered. Though the stories had believable theories, not everyone readily believed them. Some called them folklores wrapped in superstition. Some believed they were old stories, made up to

I moved my head and felt something brush my cheek. That was weird. When I tried to raise my hand and grab the thing, I realized that I couldn’t do it. Something was preventing me from moving my limbs. I frowned and tried to move my hand again, but once more it was stopped by some restraints.A sudden panic overwhelmed me, and my thoughts started swimming in the worst scenarios possible. I was kidnapped, and they were going to sell me. They were going to kill me. I was already dead.I wanted to scream, but my mouth was covered with fabric. I wanted to move, but I was tied to the bed.

Stories at the Crossroad. (completed)

Since it was a Saturday, the children could play as much as they liked. … Old Crows Town was a small town. From above, the outline of the town looked like a crow with black outlines and everything. No one knew how exactly how long Old Crow Town had been around. Not even Old Cabbage, the oldest man in the town. Many of the members in the town had either migrated there or the members of the older generation who knew anything about the town’s history were long dead.

Rainwater Kisses

Rainwater Kisses

Marissa began to sing, her voice horribly off key. "Tiger here can be the Cowardly Lion," Allie said, blowing the tiger a kiss as we began walking back toward the wine tent. "I want to be Dorothy. Marissa, you're the Scarecrow." "Why am I the Scarecrow?" Marissa pouted. "Because you got no brain, sweetie," Allie said matter-of-factly. I snickered as we turned the bend, walking directly toward the penguin enclosure. My heart stopped as one of the little birds waddled out and dove into the cool water.

The Rejected Luna

The Rejected Luna

“You can at least win the title of ‘Best Brother in the Woods.’” Kane shook his head with a faint smile. “More like ‘Loudest Hunter Alive.’ You’ll scare everything off before we even start.” Camila stuck her tongue out at him, then pulled her bow from her shoulder, striking a dramatic pose. “I’ll have you know, Lady Camila never misses her target.” “Except that one time you shot the scarecrow and hit the laundry line instead,” Gavin teased. Camila gasped. “That was one time! And it was windy!”
