Sinful Desires

Sinful Desires

Those who had discovered the truth were swiftly silenced, their secrets dying with them. The rumors about The Ghost were the stuff of criminal legend. They said he could walk through walls, that he had spies in every major organization, that he could make people disappear without a trace. Some said he wasn't human at all, but a vengeful spirit who had returned from the dead to punish the wicked. Victor did nothing to discourage these tales—in fact, he cultivated them.

Love's Inferno: When Fire Meets Ice

Love's Inferno: When Fire Meets Ice

"But. . . but. . ." "Seriously, there's no such thing as ghosts, or witches, or witch hunters," Gina raged, reaching her limits of patience. "Those are just make-believe scary stories. Lame ones for that matter and if you're so scared by a story told by a sick, dumb girl then you don't deserve to be in the vampire team." "Okay, sheesh! There's no need to get all snappy," Katie said, stepping forward before she turned to the others. "Come on, guys. Let's get this done with."

The writing was good. Interesting twists in the story. However, I got irritated when Doris was being immature. Love how 8 years old Nora and 4 years old Max acted and spoke mature. Hated that the transition between events was not always smooth and the wrong gender was used often. Nice, happy ending.

Marry Me, Madison

Marry Me, Madison

My eyes went wide seeing his pupils up close, his eyes were red and his pupil is black! Oh my god! “Calm down.” He said calmly but of course, I didn’t calm down. I feel so scared that I can’t help but to tightly close my eyes and tried punching him in the stomach but he just catched my fist that made me feel even more scared. I took some steps backwards to at least widen our distance. Who knew if he suddenly bit me? I read something about ghosts that copy the humans who their target longs about. They used it as bait or to deceive them to follow what they wanted… I also read about ghosts that can hurt humans. Thinking about it, this one could touch me, meaning….

Fatal Summer 1987

Fatal Summer 1987

Confused and slightly frightened, Sunny sat up in bed, wondering what was going on. As Sunny sat in bed, she looked around all angles of her bedroom while feeling off edge. She heard whispers but couldn’t make out what they were saying, which made her a bit scared. As she squeezed into her sheets, her palms started to sweat. The whispers grew louder, and Sunny could feel a presence in the room. She mustered up the courage to call out, "Who's there?" but received no response. The whispers then filled the bedroom loudly, and a ghostly face slowly came out of Sunny's white bedroom wall across from her. The face came out in gray smoke and seemed to be staring directly at Sunny. Goosebumps formed

Return Of The Hybrid Queen

Return Of The Hybrid Queen

she said in a strained tone as she finally got to the dry land. The lady screamed again, louder than the first time making Delaney's ears ring. “GHOST!!! IT'S A VENGEFUL GHOST!!!” she screamed with tears running down her face as people came rushing out. When they saw Delaney, they fell down on their knees their eyes filled with fear and horror. Delaney's face blanched as she grew anxious. “I'm really not dead. I'm not a ghost.” she took a step toward them only to pause when some women's eyes rolled to the back of their heads as they passed out and fall over.

How can I read Book 2 without having to reread Book 1 and paying for it cause that wouldn’t be fair seeing that book is on another app and I read that this book would be on here. Now I see three book and nowhere for me to start on the second one and continue on?

Wolf Moon

Wolf Moon

by the time the sun shimmers at the horizon behind me and the crescent moon dips below the horizon before me, I have thought of every word I know of to describe really, really, really boring walking. There is absolutely nothing here. I think of the stories we told each other when we were pups. About wraiths that lived beneath the sand of the Barren that would pull you down into their nests. They would paralyze you and then their grubs would feed off you, slowly eating you alive. That was a favorite. There are the roaming packs of wilder-scorpions, creatures that are half beast, half scorpion. Where the beast's tail should be is a scorpion's sting that will cause your skin to turn black and t

His other woman

His other woman

My skin prickles, my nerves strung tight as if my body knows something my mind doesn’t want to acknowledge. It has to be a ghost. That’s the only explanation my panicked brain can come up with. The way the shadows shift, the way the silence feels alive—it’s exactly like every horror story I’ve ever heard. I try to tell myself that ghosts aren’t real, but at this moment, I almost believe they are. And then I hear it. And then— A soft sniffing sound. Oh good, maybe it’s a lost puppy. Or, you know, a demon. Anything is possible at this point.

House of Horrors Part 1

House of Horrors Part 1

Dima's ghostly form slid inside, its chill spreading like poison through the air. It crept toward the bed where Miranda was breathing deeply, fast asleep. But suddenly—with a sudden movement—Miranda sat upright. Her eyes widened in terror as a deafening scream erupted from her throat, a scream that shook the villa to its foundations, as if it had summoned the gates of hell. --- Inside Malik and Dima's room: Dima (with a cold smile): That damned maid... she screamed. She must have sensed the evil spirits lurking around her. Malik (with unsettling calm): Excellent... Uncle Hussein and Aunt Amal are awake now, trembling with fear.

Exiled wolf bride

Exiled wolf bride

Vlad was at a loss what was stronger in him - curiosity, which only flared up even more from the proximity of the necessary information, or fear of the unknown, hostile magic and, to be sure, ghosts. People who previously did not believe in the supernatural, when faced with irrefutable evidence of its existence, experience much more shock and horror than those who have always been afraid of meeting ghosts, goblins or zombies. That is why Cesare felt most comfortable and confident of all of the trinity, for him the City of Ghosts, although it was an implausible legend all his life, in the end it was much easier for a local inhabitant to come to terms with its existence than for aliens "from a

THE EVIL FOREST

THE EVIL FOREST

She heard another frightening sound and when she looked, there it was, a monster with a goat's head, bat's wings, and clove hooks. That spirit has been there feeding on human flesh; thus, they normally walk in pared with another creepy corpse. Nina stood still, her mouth went dry ans the hair on her head stood up. She was standing on one of the forest's scariest places. There were bones of heads, and disembodied body parts that were strung along the jungle trees by a man who was haunted by the sight of a drowned girl whose body washed up on shore more than half a century ago. The sight of the disembodied bodies were so terrifying enough, at the treetops, she heard the heads whispering to one
