What the hell was she talking about? Her forehead was gathered in a frown as she watched the woman try to make sense of her feelings. "I can't quite explain it." She gave up with a shrug. Scarlett threw a ridiculous stare her way. "I believe you're wrong." She mumbled and left. ****†****†****†****† Scarlett took a cab and continued on her way to the Pack house. The entire time, she kept thinking of ways to work hard and get the money needed for her treatment. Hopefully, her pay at the Pack house would be good enough to enable her save faster.

The next chapter of her journey awaited, and Scarlett was ready to embrace it. ********************************************** Scarlett's heart raced as she approached the ancient oracle's chamber. The room was bathed in a soft, ethereal glow, casting long shadows on the cracked stone floor. The air was thick with anticipation and a faint hint of incense. Taking a deep breath, Scarlett stepped forward and called out, her voice echoing through the chamber, "Great oracle, I seek your guidance on my journey and the truth of my past." Moments passed, and then a voice filled the chamber, "Scarlett, chosen one, step forward and heed my words."

The forest whispered its secrets, urging us forward. Panton's words resonated in my mind, the shocking revelation about Scarlet's true nature. The weight of the truth settled heavily on my shoulders as I vowed to confront her. To give her a taste of her own medicine. She thought she could mess up with mate bonds and get away with it so easily. I don't think so. Athena's distress echoed in my thoughts, propelling me forward with determination.
