The killer turned his head towards Anna, and she saw his face clearly in the glare of a nearby streetlight. It was Mr. Carson, the well-known philanthropist and billionaire, who was revered by everyone in society for his charitable work and kindness. Anna was paralyzed with fear, unable to move or make a sound. She wanted to run, to scream for help, but her body wouldn't obey her. As Mr. Carson walked towards her, his eyes cold and calculating, Anna knew she was in grave danger. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she waited for his next move.
