The guy replies before letting off the button, making the walkie-talkie buzz again. “Damn!” Feeling stupid for hesitating in front of an empty closet, the guy curses before kicking hard on the door, making it fly open and crashing into the wall, making a huge bang. It would have crashed into Scar’s face if he chose the left door instead of the right. Long after his footsteps disappeared outside the empty plant, Scar dares not to let out a sound as she slips down the wall, feeling her limbs all sweaty and mellow. What now?

**A Door to Darkness** The once cozy cabin has become a fortress under siege. The wind howls outside, shaking the fragile structure, while the ominous voice beyond the door echoes with a bone-chilling threat. Shadows dance on the walls, illuminated only by the flickering light from the fireplace. Inside, the tension is suffocating as Ethan, Sophia, and Jason stand frozen, their minds racing to comprehend the danger creeping closer.

As I sprinted in her direction I reached out to embrace her and touch her. “I'm here Willa and we need to leave.” She didn't however turn around. She continued to shake her head while making a low keening noise in her throat. The sound of an animal stuck in a trap. She then raised her arms gradually and touched the door with them. It was an iron-banded solid oak door with a crudely carved symbol on it. The mark. The air became chilly and heavy. A menacing laugh reverberated throughout the corridor. It was neither a womans nor a mans laugh. It sounded brittle and dry like the rustle of ancient bones. A low voice whispered as it slithered through the atmosphere.

And we hadn’t even crossed the threshold. When the doors parted he seized my wrist in a bruising grip and yanked me into the dim hallway. Red emergency strips bled along the floor like open wounds. He stopped at what appeared to be a solid wall and pressed his thumb to a hidden scanner. A panel slid open with a metallic hiss, revealing heavy black steel double doors. My pulse slammed in my throat. “What the fuck is this…” No answer came. Just the doors shoved wide and me dragged inside like a sacrifice.

With a cautious last scan of my surroundings, I resolved to return to my training when I heard the unmistakably loud thud of the door, which I'm well damned sure I locked when I got here after escaping from home. I was alarmed, but not terrified. I had a lot of scary shit going on in my life to be terrified of a little invasion. I picked up a long metal stick. Whatever or whoever the unlucky bastard was trying to break in picked an awful night for that. I headed to the entrance door, and as expected it was opened. I checked around but there was no one. My eyes caught something strange on the door. It was some kind of a scratch. I trailed it with my fingers. It seemed like a work of anything

The loose shirt clung to my body, all thanks to the cold sweat sliding down my arm. This was Don Adler's mother's door. According to Kyra, this was where he went when he needed to lock everyone out. She told me no one dared to go up the floor where the room was situated, but... But here I was. The hallway had less light than the others. The room was situated at the far end, making it more terrifying. The only light flickered constantly. The only addition needed for it to become a full-blown horror movie was blood. My blood.

Determination sparked in his eyes as he retraced his steps back to where he had found the alcohol. His Dark brown eyes scanned the store, searching for any signs of suspicion. His gaze settled on a door tucked away in the corner near the fridge. Frowning, he approached the door, his curiosity overpowering any hesitations. The door was slightly ajar, revealing a small hole that allowed a glimpse of what lay beyond. Taking a deep breath, Scott cautiously pushed the door open, unsure of what he would find on the other side. But as the door swung open fully, his eyes widened in shock at the scene that unfolded before him.

And it wouldn't be found if i didn't follow them. Whatever he was planning, I will never let him succeed in it. I opened the cabinet slightly to check if he was still here but luckily the entire runway was clear. Without wasting another moment, I rushed inside and encountered a huge door where a red poster with a skull was imprinted. DANGER… it was written in bold letters. When I touched the metallic door, I felt a weird vibes. Something horrific was happening behind those doors and I was afraid to get inside and see everything with my eyes.

She knocked on the door, and a voice from inside barked, "Come in." As Sylvia opened the door, she felt like she'd walked into a scene from a horror movie. The room was sparsely furnished and lit by a single lamp, casting eerie shadows on the wall. It was clear that this type of room was meant to cause fear, but Sylvia wasn't afraid. She knew that Alaric wouldn't hurt her; he just wanted to talk to her – but the feeling of unease still lingered.
