I nodded. Everyone else I see chooses every door that seems close to what they consider the usual door that we see. That’s why the door in the middle was avoided so much. It was made of wood and the color was black, like it was a door from a haunted house. No one even dared look at it because the way it looked was enough to scare everyone away. “Why don’t we choose that one?” I said as I nodded my head towards the door. “I have a feeling that you would say that,” Ruby said with a smirk.

I retreated away toward the end of my hallway, my back firmly pressed against the wall as I stared at the metal door. Just then, a strange sound suddenly came from the direction of the stairwell. It was sticky and sounded draggy. Every step was slow and hesitant, like something heavy was being dragged across the floor. It was accompanied by the chilling sound of grinding teeth. My blood ran cold. The zombies were here, lured in by their commotion! Danilo, who was just about to head up after going downstairs, bumped right into a zombie and immediately let out an ear-piercing scream.

Afterall, we are family. After a while we got to the front of two large doors. Each of these doors has two hefty looking men stood in front of it. One was a black oak while the other was a door I couldn't pinpoint. However,its structure was less frightening than the other. To my surprise, Cara went for the frightening looking one. “Is this the right place?” I asked in apprehension. Something smells fishy and I was having a tight chest like I had the day my father died.

She stayed quiet after that. We continued making our way through the corridors until we stood in front of a big, wooden door. It was closed, so one of the guards knocked loudly and the door opened automatically by itself. It squeaked like you see in those old haunted house horror movies, which didn’t make me any more confident about the situation.

The buzzing of the flies, the hum of the refrigerator units, the traffic—it all died. The brick wall behind them—the dead end—dissolved. In its place stood a rectangle of absolute darkness, seven feet tall. It cut through the reality of the alley like a surgical incision. It was a Door. The frame shimmered with a pulsing, violet light. The center was a swirling vortex of black, but deep within, stars spun in a bottomless void. It hummed with a violent, agitated energy, reacting to the raw emotion in the alley—the fear, the hate, and the crushing weight of the betrayal.

For some reason I felt like I needed to talk to him, I needed to see if he was really as scary as my mind was telling me. I waited until it had been some time since mommy left and I put on my fuzzy slippers and tiptoed to the door. I opened it and didn’t see anyone else around. I jumped across the hall to the big door and wondered if he was behind it. What did he do in there? I reached for the doorknob and turned it, I heard two voices. They both stopped right away and the scary man stared at me. “Sunny, are you all right,” he asked.

"It won't affect you very much. Did you feel anything when you pulled the chain?" Caspian recalled and shook his head. "Nothing." Handsome's father was frightened just now, and both Handsome and Charlotte were terrified, but Caspian just felt a cool breeze blowing and nothing else. Even when he saw the ghost flames, he never felt afraid. Handsome's father snorted. "That's right. After all, the Door to Hell was pulled out by you. It would be strange if you were afraid. Basically, we don't really need bodyguards but it was on the rules that we should at least have three to five bodyguard to make sure our security. I'm breathing heavily while staring at the door bravely before deciding to hide behind the door. But all my courage were shaken when another knock happened in my door. But this time its louder and scary. Its like its hurrying me to open the door. Fuck this sounds like a horror movie! I was so stunned to move that I can't even move closer to the door nor scared to open the door. I just stared at it waiting for the person or ghost or whatever it is to open the damn door!
