Irene opened the door to her room, she saw her husband lying on the bed sleeping, as she was pacing around contemplating whether to ask him about the anniversary party or not, but how would she tell him who told her? She doesn't want the party or anyone in the house or someone to find out about her secret affair, she doesn't want an intruder in the house. She needs to find a way to stop the party.

We didn't talk as we climbed down the old spiral stairs. The air got colder with each step. Our boots scraped against metal in the darkness. Echo walked beside me, glancing at the walls like they might speak. They almost did. At the bottom, a steel door waited. It has no handle for opening it. It's just a scanner. "Ready?" I asked. She touched the scar on her wrist. "No. But let's do it." I pressed my hand to the scanner. My mark lit up. Hers did too.

Sarah scolded me as I scurried away, wanting to get to Melody as soon as possible. A guard nodded to me and let me up the steps, obviously being linked by Scott as I got there. I made my was up the stairs and down to the door Scott told me about. There were two doors together when I got there, obviously for a small meeting room. I opened them and stepped inside, closing them behind me for some privacy.

she replied, staring deep into my eyes with her lips pressed together in a slightly worried look I stared back for a few seconds before nodding "Yes, um.... let's go so you can see it" She nodded too "Lead the way then" Alpha Scott stepped forward then "Follow me" We obeyed, trailing behind him as he led us past the wards and onto a deserted hallway with a huge steel door that had 'Mortuary' written on top. He dug a hand into his pocket and fished out a key, quickly sliding it into the keyhole on the steel door and unlocking it

"Let's just speed through this last one and then we can grab something to eat and get some much needed rest. We've got a big day ahead of us tomorrow." We come to the final door on the ground floor. The word "office" hangs on the door in bronze letters. The door is ajar, and I nudge it open with the toe of my boot. It creaks, alerting anything inside to our presence. We wait for a second, listening for signs of any movement within. When nothing comes to greet us, we step carefully into the room.

I wasn’t going to shift into my wolf knowing that it would only cause an even bigger scene. Scott waited behind the door, watching me with worry and a bit of determination. He motioned for me to run faster, and I did so. Once I was through the door, he slammed it shut and latched it. “Come on!” He said urgently as he ran up the stairs. I realized that the door led to the stairway; it must have been an emergency door.

“I think you are the only woman to ever fasten my pants.” “And all the others only wanted to get into them?” she asked. “Not like there were a lot of them.” He said, and she looked up at him. “Get your shirt on.” She said as she looked toward the door again. No one that was outside the door had seen the actions of the two in the room. She went over and picked up the phone and dialed a number quickly. She was telling someone what room and that the person wanted to sign himself out. They needed the paperwork brought up asap.

Determination sparked in his eyes as he retraced his steps back to where he had found the alcohol. His Dark brown eyes scanned the store, searching for any signs of suspicion. His gaze settled on a door tucked away in the corner near the fridge. Frowning, he approached the door, his curiosity overpowering any hesitations. The door was slightly ajar, revealing a small hole that allowed a glimpse of what lay beyond. Taking a deep breath, Scott cautiously pushed the door open, unsure of what he would find on the other side. But as the door swung open fully, his eyes widened in shock at the scene that unfolded before him.

A guy who scared her that badly was scum. "Please, he'll go away." Fiona's hands were clasped together so tight her knuckles were white. "Fiona!" "Someone hit you. Was it him?" Marco pointed at the display. "What?" Her eyes went wide. "No, Scott never hit me." "Open the fucking door!" The pounding was harder. Lower. Marco glanced back at the screen. Scott kicked the door. And it didn't so much as budge. It shook a bit, but not like a normal door.

Dom opens the door with a key Chana cut for us from the housekeeper's keyring eleven days ago. The housekeeper went to a yoga class in Middleburg and her keyring spent ninety minutes in a locker. The key to the door went on a little trip to the locksmith with Max. We’re in the pantry, which leads to the kitchen, which leads to the back hall. The back hall leads to the library. There are three doors between us and Scott. We move through all three of them in under fifty seconds, in stack order, Dom point, me second, Saint third. The door to the library is the only one that’s closed.
