Scarlett's POV I squeezed my eyes open and I shivered in fear when my gaze fell on a mystical creature. It's half human being and half eagle. He gazed at me through his red eyes that instantly changed to black, "Look who we have here." he said, leaking his lips as if he had seen a delicious meal. I swiftly stood up and moved backward only to be pushed by another one who barked out a cold and irritating laughter. " Mmm. This is a delicious meal," the one at my back said, inhaling my scent and I turned around to see that they were now almost ten in number, curling me with an irritating and scary face.

Blood dripped from it, forming a small pool on the ground. My eyes widened in horror as I took in the gruesome sight. Fear gripped me, and I began to tremble uncontrollably. Rose's smile grew wider, her eyes glinting with sadistic pleasure. As I stood there, paralysed with fear, she threw the head towards me. It rolled across the ground, coming to a stop right in front of me. The sight of Nikita's lifeless eyes staring up at me was too much to bear. And her waking up is scarier, for everyone else. But what I find rather frightening, is that: her big brown eyes, all of sudden, are glowing silver. She's okay, right?
