Scary Eyes In The Dark Novels & Stories

As though on cue, three pairs of eyes glow. I pause in my search, rooted to the spot in that moment, my stomach clenching so tight it feels like I’ll faint. The glow was unnatural. Ethereal. Terrifying. Even Ally shrinks in my head, whimpering. Red. Amber. Black-gray — these are the colors of their eyes in the dark. Faintly, I smell them, stepping closer. No hand has touched me yet, I feel their breaths heavy, surrounding me. “She smells so nice,” one states,

“Look at me.” Could he read thoughts? My eyes travelled to meet his, and I noticed something different: they were dark, very dark, and this man looked every inch scary.

Michael said looking at Gage. “What did he look like?” Gage asked. “I don’t know, he had a hood on, and he wouldn’t remove it, he had dark red eyes.” She said shaking her head. “He scared me, he told me they were going to use a ritual to summon me and sacrifice me.” She said with tears rolling down her face. “Please Jade I don’t want to be here anymore, can't we go home?”

It's dark. Nothing but emptiness and loneliness. So dark is all my eyes could see. The only time is when bright white light casts its rays and blinds me as black silhouettes appear. My palms were damp. “Alright,” I said, my voice shaking, “I don’t know what kind of prank this is, but I’m not scared of you.” Lies. I was terrified. Then I saw them. Eyes. Not just any eyes—glowing eyes. Golden. Piercing. Watching me from the shadows like a predator. My body locked up.

The fog faded and I saw so many pairs of yellow eyes glowing like a firefly. Those yellow scary eyes scared the shit out of me and the bodies of wolves slowly started to appear making me drag my body backwards in order to save myself and I could see death approaching me.

The usual businessman/shark… Superbly clever, insidiously calculating, and terrifyingly dangerous. Fear might’ve protected her, but Lara hadn’t learned to fear him until it was far too late. But she was scared now, scared enough to please even the most merciless sadist. Not scared for herself... but for her father. Lara came to a halt in front of the door and briefly closed her eyes. “Crawl,” she whispered to herself. “That’s what he wants. And if he gets what he wants, maybe destroying Dad would seem less appealing.” Lara knocked and braced herself. It was opened almost immediately by a young man.

And his eyes—dear goddess—his eyes weren’t the kind you look into. They were the kind that look through you. Piercing gray, cold steel under sunlight. The kind that saw too much, too fast, and left you wondering what part of yourself he’d already stolen.
