The abyss below started glowing. Warning lights flashed throughout the room. The MC's voice echoed again "Penalty activated." Everyone cursed. Nolan slammed onto another platform several feet away….hard. The crowd gasped. Fortunately, he wasn't seriously injured but the trap wasn't finished. The abyss below suddenly came alive. Silver creatures came out from the darkness. There were dozens of them. They looked like wolf-shaped constructs made entirely from rune magic. Their eyes glowed blue and their bodies shimmered with ancient energy. The worst part? They were climbing toward us.
