The Island of the Silence

The Island of the Silence

Mara raised the view. “Is that it?” Eva didn't answer. Instead, she saw the ceiling. Everybody heard it. Steps. Up. Several. Slow down. Hard. Not the bald man. Not water. People. Then a voice from the bunker's loudspeaker. Old. Distorted. Male. “Station North at Marea headquarters. The subject has separated the bond. Protocol 7 activate. Secure target person.’ Eva's got a big deal. She whispered: “Oh no.” Mara got up.

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

Outside, the birds fell silent. A figure stood in our garden, between the rosemary and the struggling carrots. It was neither male nor female, clad in a robe of shifting, neutral grey. Its face was pleasant but forgettable, and it held a slate of smooth, dark stone in one hand. In the other, a stylus of white light hovered, ready to take notes. “Designates: Sze and Kairi,” it said. Its voice was calm, measured, and utterly devoid of inflection. “I am Assessor Seven. I am here to evaluate Incident Report 4492-Alpha and the ongoing status of your localized anomaly.”

Pregnant For The Wrong twin

Pregnant For The Wrong twin

“They didn’t destroy the prototypes. They stored them.” “And fed on them,” a new voice said behind them. Evryn spun. Someone had joined them on the lift. A tall, pale figure in a technician’s coat, eyes glowing with a dull amber light. But it wasn’t human. Not anymore. “I’m Iteration 07. They left me awake,” it said. Evryn narrowed her eyes. “Why?” “Because I remembered too much,” 07 said quietly. “And now, so will you.” Suddenly, the lift jerked to a stop. The platform doors slid open, revealing a spherical chamber filled with floating data glyphs, all spiraling around a monolithic core. It pulsed slowly, like a sleeping heart.

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

If she insisted on throwing her life away, then she could do it alone. After both men left, Hayley remained standing quietly in the corridor as countless infrared scanners swept across her body. "Subject 7913, return to your room within ten seconds." - Fifteen minutes later, every seat around the massive conference table was occupied. Aside from a few younger faces, most of the people there were older. Every one of them carried the same detached arrogance that seemed to define the upper ranks of Ascendant Creed. "Decider Two. It's been a while."

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

Shadow Pact

Shadow Pact

Bigfoot, Loch Ness monster; were they all wondering around these halls, just waiting to snap her up for a midnight snack? “Many," he said with a careless shrug. "I'm not sure of the exact number, but the Coven is the court for our world. There are hundreds here at any time.” “Of course," she mumbled bitterly. It only made sense for her to land in the Grand Central Station of the immortal world. Fabulous. "Paoli is a vampire, I'm apparently half-demon, and you claim you're 'complicated'," she counted them off. She put finger quotes around the word 'complicated'; a testament to how infuriated she felt since she never air quoted.

Agent Rose seduced Mr. Hot Model

Agent Rose seduced Mr. Hot Model

Even though I am sure that I would do the same if I were in his situation, we have to stop her. Matthew made her sleep. He took Sophia to the room and asked the staff to watch over her. After that, we went to a room to prepare the future plan. "They are not at his house," Noella informed us as she showed us the footage. "They may be somewhere, and Cjay is a captive there," Shiela commented. "That's for sure." Noella, check out all the old buildings surrounding the area. "They may be hiding there now." Aycxe ordered that Noella do it quickly.

THE LAST SHIFT: A Werewolf without a Wolf

THE LAST SHIFT: A Werewolf without a Wolf

Not a Reaper, not a drone…but a black sphere, shimmering, humming low like a death song. It pulsed once. A voice echoed through the chamber: "Unauthorized presence. Resurrection protocol denied. Backup override initiated." "It's trying to wipe her," I said. Null screamed. "No! If she's erased, the root dies. And all of us with it!" The sphere opened. Needles of light. A soft hum of deletion. Subject 13 stepped forward. For the first time, his voice rang strong. "I won't let you touch her." He pressed his palm to the bone chair.

Her mother's lover

Her mother's lover

My throat tightened as I clicked a video file labeled: Prototype 7. The footage flickered to life. Maria sat behind a sleek desk, her expression calm and deliberate. “The subject Scarlett Maria Devereux exhibits strong adaptive instincts, emotional volatility, and high persuasion thresholds. Predicted outcome: ideal candidate for control transfer.” Control transfer. I scrolled to the next document a contract signed under Damien Cole’s name, dated before Maria’s death. Subject assigned: Scarlett M. Devereux. Objective: integrate emotional dependency and ensure asset compliance. I couldn’t breathe.

THE PAKHAN'S STOLEN OMEGA

THE PAKHAN'S STOLEN OMEGA

A dangerous combination for any Alpha, let alone one who'd built his empire on emotional detachment. "She's magnificent," Nikolai murmured beside him, and Alexei couldn't disagree. The Council chamber buzzed with tension. Every major supernatural faction had sent representatives, Alphas from three continents, vampire lords centuries old, witch matriarchs who'd forgotten more magic than most would ever learn. And at the center of it all stood his mate, human by biology but commanding the room like she'd been born to it. The evidence Dimitri had extracted from Architect's files displayed on screens around the chamber. Facility locations. Genetic modification protocols. Deployment schedules for

she returned, shrugging in a matter-of-fact expression. Dennis seemed to think about the fact for some seconds, very concerned. Just then, his tablet buzzed and he groaned. "The team from the facility just confirmed that something was taken," he said. "Item 13." A picture of a large, black, seemly plastic containment box marked Item 13 on the side popped up on the screen alongside some strings of letters and numbers Megan couldn't interpret. "What is it exactly?" she asked. "Unfortunately, that information is above your clearance, Miss Months," he replied, "but what I can tell you is that Item 13 out of Olympus's hands is a very, very bad development." He groaned again.
