“Noo don't… please don't!!” The sound of screaming awakens Amore. “Ow my head” With closed eyes she tries touching her head, but her hands would just not move. She tries yanking on the thing holding her hand from touching her head, but nothing works. Confused, she tries opening her eyes, she blinks a few times before she could finally open them. Suddenly, sharp piercing screams erupts throughout the room. My eardrums feel as though they are about to erupt, this throws me off balance causing my knees to buckle and they hit the ground hard. This does nothing, I feel vibrations wrecking through my body. "Please, please stop." I murmur.

I can hear branches cracking, water moving, everything. My head spins, and my chest tightens. “That’s… that’s too far,” I whisper, my voice trembling. I can hear it. How can I hear everything? My hands start shaking. “No …no, this isn’t happening …” More sounds flood in, layered and overlapping, too sharp, too loud, too close. I stagger back, pressing my hands to my ears, but it doesn’t help. I scream as it tears me apart from within. “I can’t …” My voice breaks. “I can’t turn it off …”

Death would be a far preferable alternative. Noah erupted in a wild, cackling peal, his head thrown back. I pressed my hands to my ears, trying to block it out, but it only grew louder. Then came the screech—a high-pitched, grating sound, like claws raking across stone. It was so sharp, so piercing, that it made my head throb. I squeezed my eyes shut, tears streaming down my face as I tried to drown out the noise. The sound was unbearable, scraping at my mind, driving me to the brink of madness. And then, as suddenly as it started, it stopped.

The screeching sound that had jolted her awake once again as she was slipping into unconsciousness and then waking up. The painful screeching sound lingered in her ears, a haunting echo of the terror she had experienced. Her vision was strongly blurred, and her head throbbed with pain.
