I Was Hired To Seduce My Boss

I Was Hired To Seduce My Boss

The journey takes us to a small village on the coast. The cottage is hidden at the end of a winding path, surrounded by gnarled trees and overgrown hedges. It looks abandoned, forgotten, but a thin wisp of smoke rises from the chimney, and I see movement behind the curtained windows. I knock on the door. It creaks open, revealing a woman I have never met. She is old, her face a web of wrinkles, her white hair pulled back in a loose bun. Her eyes are the colour of sea glass, pale and sharp, studying me with an intensity that makes my skin prickle.

Yet, I was never satisfied, because the one thing I wanted most, they never provided. Love. Penny gave it to Katharine in spades. It made something like a trip together, even if she had to be a housekeeper for a week, special. I started flipping through the pages faster, searching for entries about the location of the cottages. Near the end of the second book, I struck gold. One of her sketches was an archway with the name Scott’s Seaside Hideaway. I grabbed my phone, doing a search on the net for the name.

THE LOST TIDE KING

THE LOST TIDE KING

CHAPTER 18: THE COTTAGE SECRET Scene 52: Return Home The cottage lights were on. No smoke rose from the chimney. No car waited beside the broken fence. Still, warm yellow light glowed behind every window as though Grandmother had been expecting us. Rain swept across the cliffs and struck the windscreen in silver sheets. Raiken switched off the engine. No one moved. The sea crashed below the road, hidden by darkness and fog. Each wave carried a low vibration through the ground and into my bones.

The Billionaire Rejected Me

The Billionaire Rejected Me

he bid farewell as he spotted a girl behind me. Walking on the white sand felt like I was walking on the clouds. I didn't go to the food court and instead descended from the resort where the beautiful cottages were. The resort was in an elevated part, so I had to go down a rocky staircase. When I was close to Ruin's indicated large cottage, I saw Lazarus holding Luzon and feeding him. His cousin was with them, and there were other unfamiliar faces. The cottage was spacious, with a large table in the middle that I thought could seat about twenty people. The cottage was typically used for family gatherings. There were other cottages for friends or smaller groups.

Mated To The Lycan King Who Can’t Let Go

Mated To The Lycan King Who Can’t Let Go

I finally took the place in—and shit. The cottage was huge in that old money that pretends to be modest but actually screams wealth way. White stone, a slanted mossy roof, balconies wrapped in vines, lanterns hanging from branches like floating fireflies. Trees framed everything, tall enough to swallow the house whole, with wildflowers and moonlit blossoms spilling around the pathway. It looked like a fairytale dropped acid and decided to go minimalist. "All the previous queens spent their wedding night here too," Levi added.

Moon's Betrayal

They completed me just as I completed them. Kai swept me up into his arms and carried me bridal style up the wooden steps until I could truly see the beauty of the cottage. It was a large two-story wooden cottage nestled within the trees and with the backdrop of the mountains. Its high windows were perfectly placed so that natural sunlight would flood the interior. It was nighttime by now, but the porch was lit by orbs from Aedrul. Their white lights casted a beautiful silhouette onto the cottage. Sneaky Papa. He did not even give me a heads up.

His Return, My Ruin

His Return, My Ruin

Paulsen’s patrol car rounded the final bend of the coastal road, and the Oakhaven lighthouse finally came into view—not as a haunting tombstone, but as a steady, rhythmic pulse of light against the black silk of the Atlantic. Nestled just below the cliff’s edge was the old family cottage, its windows glowing with a warm, amber light that felt almost offensive given the storm raging in my chest. There was no silhouette on the precipice. There was no screaming wind. Just the quiet, domestic hum of a house tucked away from the world. "He's inside," Paulsen whispered, killed the sirens and the headlights a hundred yards out. "The burner phone pinged right from that kitchen window." I stepped out

One of my favourite stories Ive found. the storyline amazing, the characters especially having a strong female lead amazing and the humour made me laugh laugh out loud at times like a crazy person. Kudos to the author and her brilliant imagination. it does however need to be edited/proof read though

this is a really good book! I wish the author would learn how to use punctuation correctly! and " marks make a big difference! she uses some weird brackets between their talking. That's one big long run-on sentence between everybody talking. sometimes it's hard to figure out who is actually talkin

His Brother's Ruin

His Brother's Ruin

They went as a unit. The cottage was a two-hour drive north, nestled at the end of a winding dirt road in a grove of ancient pines. It was a humble, beautiful thing of fieldstone and weathered shingles, surrounded by overgrown wildflowers. It didn’t look like a Vanderbilt secret; it looked like an artist’s dream. Kaelan’s security swept it first. “Clear. No signs of recent habitation. No surveillance. It’s… just a house.”

Contract Marriage with the Vampire

Contract Marriage with the Vampire

Antagonised, Faith looked away from William and repeated in her head like a broken record that she has a boyfriend, who she is learning to love very much. Sighing tiredly, Faith fusses with her keys; leaning against the tired stonewalls of her house, before finally finding the right one – a small ornate bronze key that somehow looks medieval. She inserts it into the old wooden door, with white paint slightly chipping at the edges, and six small glass windows that let the cold blustery wind in, but Faith is proud to call the little cottage home. To her it looks like it is straight out of a fairy-tale with a happy ending or a picture book for little children. In fact, it looked like many thing
