Later, she learns that he is a werewolf, a supposed king, and there she is not wanted in their world. And she gets so mad. When he confesses his love to her, she turns him down. But she learns of her own feelings when he leaves, saying that he is going to marry Tecla. She goes after him, and confesses to him. But that is not the end. More trouble pops up. And she is at the risk if being killed, because half humans are not welcomed to the kingdom of wolves. Deagan is threatened to marry Tecla or give up the thrown. But because of his love for Sunna, he readily agrees to give it up. This angers the king. He is the only heir. After seeing his determination, they make a . He gives Deagan life threatening tasks, and he says that he can only marry Sunna once he completes them. And Deagan completes all of them. At last, he happily marries her, making her his only mate. And he becomes a great king of his people.
