Damien growls once more deeply guttural—but then his body begins to wreck violently, as if something inside him is trying to break apart but when he looked up, I knew there was going to be one hell of a bloody bath scene, I feel my vision leaving me and I collapse helplessly.

The liquid was a bit milky with some dirt at the bottom. When I shook it slightly, the chalky particles rose to the surface and a funky smell filled the air. It wasn't the water that had been given to me. Alarmed, I spilt the contents of the bowl and its wasted droplets went in different directions. The entire troop of lycans sniggered wildly, some hooting and howling in intervals.

I shiver as his thumb traces over my bottom lip. Just when I think he is leaning in for a kiss, he goes completely still. My eyes flicker up from his pouty lips to his eyes. I see them begin to grow weak. They grow dark. Black veins spread out around his eyes as the life slowly spills away from them. And the next second, he drops to the ground. I gasp at this, because as soon as Darius' body drops to the ground, I see Rome standing there, behind him. The Lycan has blood dripping down his claws.

Glen’s POV The line went dead immediately and the room around me came back to focus with dim lightning and the faint smell of blood lingering in the air. I lifted my gaze to Romeo who stood a few feet away, flexing his fingers slightly as dark red streaks still clung to his skin, his knuckles were quite bloodied from his 'exercise'. At his feet, a body lay lifeless, unfortunately he was a man who had made the mistake of stepping into territory he didn’t understand or better still he understood too well.

With a gulp, the little Angel scrambles back to the corner. Not aware of how amused I am, and that she had nothing to worry about from the second she walked in. “Thank you for ruining a romance classic, you doo-doo head. If I die, I’m haunting you for all eternity!” with a firm “GRRR” and a little clack, all is quiet as the men make their way to our position. “My love is gone again! Carried away by that leech of darkness!” The very thin and small ‘Jonathan’ proclaims.

Rocco's body shook as I launched bullet after bullet in his body, the chaotic sounds making my ears ring for minutes. The metallic smell of blood lingered in the room as Rocco's body went pale. I blew over my gun, stepping back while Rocco's blue eyes stared directly at me. I should have felt something, but I felt nothing. Rocco was gone. And so was my chance at having good sex ever again.

Although Judy tilted her head in time, she was not fast enough as one of her eyes was poked. The force was so strong that fresh blood gushed all over Darren’s face. His eyes burned in pain from Judy’s blood, but it was nothing compared to the agony that she had felt. As a sharp sting overcame her senses, Judy let out a blood-curdling scream as she shrieked in torment. Her yells were so frightening that a shiver ran down Darren’s spine. As Darren wiped away the blood, he found Judy laying on the floor with her hands over her face as she howled in pain. Fresh blood was flowing from her face and it was obvious that she had become blind.
