The air in Site Omega felt heavy, charged with the static of billions of intercepted dreams. The First-Born Sentinels moved around them with a terrifying, synchronized grace, their blades humming with the same violet energy that filled the room. Kael parried a strike that could have severed a normal man's arm. The shock of the impact resonated through his obsidian blade and into the "Architect" code in his marrow. "Leo! Do it now!" Kael shouted, kicking a Sentinel back into a crystal pillar.

“Deploy the sentinels.” Seraphine’s stomach twisted. “Sentinels?” The chamber above her head shifted. A massive section of the glowing ceiling opened. Through it, Seraphine saw shapes moving within the rift. Hundreds of them. Warriors forged from divine metal and living light. Their bodies were tall and armored, their faces hidden behind smooth golden masks like the Ancients themselves. But these creatures carried weapons. Spears. Blades. Energy that hummed with cosmic power. Seraphine whispered in disbelief.

“Insolence! “Impudent!” “Outrageous!” The Sentinels were instantly enraged and began attacking with their signature skills. A giant rat head appeared, spitting dense lightning. An ox apparition appeared, charging forward to gore Andrius. Another Sentinel swung a large sword, seemingly cutting through space itself. Faced with all sorts of attacks, the glint in Andrius’ eyes grew sharper, and he swept out his spear without another word. “Unrivaled Under the Heavens!”

Infuriating the hell out of me even more. I was ready to slap him right in the face when he spins around, facing Scarlet whose nose and ears are flaring as she blocked Hunter's path. Her two minions stood by her side, copying her posture. Not a moment later, sumo girl joined in, looking much more intimidating than the last time she stood there to challenge me to a fight. Did I not beat her ass enough? It's clear she wants more, and I know I'll have to give the peopld what they want. But Hunter here, is the only one holding me back. The crowd stood a safe distance apart from us, whispering amongst themselves as they waited for the grand finale of this fight.

The male figure nods his head proudly and says- “Human. Are you aware those legends apply in real time too? Take a look and tell me what you would call me?” Akihiko glances over the male figure’s body and says- “You’re a yokai… Fenrir, the…” and before he could complete his sentence the male interrupts and says loudly, “Yes! I am Fenrir, the Silv…” and Akihiko continues regardless, “… dog!” There is a brief moment of silence in the hallway and then Fenrir the male figure leans into Akihiko’s face and says- “I’ll kill you if you compare me to that inferior creature.”

I would've smiled if fear hadn't gripped my heart, threatening to still the pounding thuds hammering in my ears. Henchmen was the Scorcher's name for the law enforcers that patrolled the perimeter of the walled Cities. Each town had their own legion and the scorchers hated them all, almost as much as the henchmen hated them.

The sentinel barreled toward Obiora and plowed unto his midriff with its shoulders, Obiora huffed as he was lifted up and the robot began to squeeze, with a roar he raise both his clasped fists up and smashed down on the sentinel's exposed shoulders. The impact buckled it nearly unto it's knees, stunned, it dropped Obiora who hurled punches at the Sentinel's armoured chest in rapid succession sending chirps of metal flying, the robot's visor gleamed as Obiora stopped his attack and backpedalled knowing what was coming, the laser beam gained the Sentinel a moment respite as Obiora took to the air, with a roar he will up the largest flame he'd ever created and flung it down at the robot.

He got that sense of bad boy when you look at him. “Oh, excuse me.” The guy said. Then he walked past Jai and to the door, passing by Harris who’s entering the place. “Hey, you left me.” Harris faked a pout. But Jai wasn’t looking at him, he was looking at the red haired guy who just left. Harris realized whom Jai was looking at. “Oh. That’s Satoru Hirabayashi.” “Who?” Jai looked at him. “Satoru Hirabayashi from the Hirabayashi clan. He’s one of the geniuses of this generation. He’s a very skilled hunter.” Harris said.
