Our department head exchanged a look with Vanessa, silently praising her. Several coworkers surrounded her. "Vanessa, you're incredible." I quietly left. But Vanessa followed me. "Sophie." I stopped. Her eyes curved in a smile. "Even if you're his wife, I'll always be first with him. "Everything you worked so hard to get is effortless for me." She was right. At fourteen, Vanessa had easily taken Richard's love from me. Now she had taken Ethan's heart too. Far away, Ethan was being escorted into the elevator by our leadership, looking lazy and composed.

' Caitlyn wondered within. Caitlyn shifted her gaze to the woman whose facial expression appeared different from Martin's. She seemed intimidating, even though she had a small stature. "As you can see, I've been doing exceptionally well since you left," She answered with a shoulder raise and a grin. 'Is she the boastful type? What's going on?" Caitlyn had so many thoughts running through her mind. Veronica looked at Caitlyn and their eyes locked. 'Finally, you noticed me.' "I can see you're here with someone," She gave a sly smile and shifted her gaze back to Martin.

Offering a military salute by crossing their hands over their chest they stood facing her. Jelena Savage was not as old as one would expect from the leader of an entire race. She was only 17, even younger than Axel by a whole two years! Her hair was braided just above both her ears, her eyes watched coldly like a hawk and inside them, one could sense ruthlessness emanating from her whole being. Her voice was a bat match for her personality, she sounded nothing like who she was. This was a strong woman, who ruled with fear and an iron fist.

Serena. The woman clenched the pictures tightly in her hand, her nails digging into the glossy surface. Her voice was sharp and laced with bitterness. “Who is she?” The investigator leaned forward slightly. “Her name is Serena. Serena Winthrop. She’s the mother of the child.” He paused, then added with emphasis, “And she’s also the CEO of Rocky’s Designs, the furniture company.” The woman scoffed, a humorless chuckle escaping her lips. “You’re telling me Nathan left me—an international supermodel, adored by millions—to be with a… a CEO of some furniture company?” Her voice dripped with disbelief and mockery.

But that was hard, seeing as she just sat there looking out of space. Camila Brinx was indeed a fine and beautiful young woman, she was a role model to many girls and women, they aspired to have her calm and collected mindset. I've heard many girls discussing how beautiful she was and how much they admired the way she talked and carried herself. She was indeed remarkable, she has a light six pack and a beautiful hour glassed shape, not to mention her moisturized curly brunette hair.

I turn to Yvonne. Yvonne sighed and shifted from one foot to another. “She had a child here.” “A child she doesn't care about. Tarlyn is not here for her daughter. The only time she had cared about that girl was to spite Isla.” She exhaled. “Just don't make any rash decisions,” I said quietly. The doors flung open and Serena rushed in, panting her eyes wide. “Serena,” Yvonne rushed to her and held her by the shoulders. She bent over, hands on her knees. “Is someone chasing you?” Yvonne craned her neck to look outside the windows.

Serena paced the opulent living room of Damian’s penthouse, her heels clicking sharply against the marble floor. The atmosphere was thick with tension, and the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city skyline only added to her cold determination. She was ready to take control, and nothing would stand in her way. Her plan would be executed perfectly. Veronica stood by the door, exuding poise and elegance. Serena had called her for a specific purpose, and there was a silent understanding between them. Serena glanced at her briefly before fixing her gaze on the sprawling room around them.

She’s sent me a link to a YouTube video. I wonder what the video is about, but I decide to wait until I get home to watch it. ******************** When I got home, I make my way to the living room. The video plays, and it’s an interview of Serena with Taylor Vanderbilt. As the screen fills with Serena's image, a big smile spreads across my face. She looks stunning, her natural beauty radiating through the screen. Serena’s long, blonde hair cascades over her shoulders in soft waves, and her eyes are bright

Serena said, passing Yvonna to Indie. “Look at my little niece. She looks just like me with her green eyes and blonde hair. I bet she’ll be the most beautiful concubus when she grows up.” Indie said, nuzzling her nose into Yvonna’s cheek. My daughter loved the attention. She was always happy to be held and passed around. Serena said it was a sign that she was a concubus and not a succubus. She was like everyone’s child in the house.
