Chandler's legs gave way, and he sank to the floor. He stared blankly at the blood-covered flesh on his hand, murmuring, “It’s really her, it’s really her… “How could this happen?” He asked as he gazed at Ben, his eyes bloodshot, panic and anger surging within him. With a wave of his arm, he sent everything nearby crashing to the ground. Then, he seized Ben’s collar. “Bring me all the data on A167!” His voice trembled as he sank into despair. “Wasn’t it said that the special drug was supposed to be effective?”

He watched in horror as they both approached and, with shaky hands, started unlocking and unwrapping the numerous chains around his arms, torso and legs. Shadow didn’t wait for the last shackle on his ankle to be unlocked as he stood and broke the chain. “The Council would get involved,” Derek said with his head down. “They will end this, and whatever you want will be lost to you forever.” ‘Listen to him,’ he begged. But Shadow ran out of the back door into the woods, leaving his pack mates in the house. He could not fully shift because of the silver in his blood, so he started running. Ava’s scent was so strong in this form that it was like a beacon, leading Shadow right to her.

Amelia said. "I'm not saying....." Amelia didn't wait for me to finish before she interrupted me. "I can just book an Uber and walk outside myself if you insist," Amelia said. "You will get lost. Oh, you think I go outside and come back inside with an ordinary eye, right? This forest rotates around itself. You can take the path at the back of the house towards the tarred road and come back through the front path," I said, trying to scare her off and she fell for it immediately with the way she held my clothes.

The sheer, brutal force of the slap sent my head snapping to the side, my face forcefully tilted toward the dirt. "You truly made things incredibly difficult for me, Raegan. You made me waste so much precious time hunting you down," he hissed. Before I could recover, his fingers aggressively tangled into my hair, yanking my head back with immense force until I was looking directly into his face. The one countenance I had prayed to never encounter again was staring right back at me. His dark, soulless eyes pierced straight through me, and an uncontrollable tremor shook my limbs as a sadistic smirk stretched across his lips.

The way the shadow wails makes them know that it planned to take her, but now that Malisha is not here, it plans to kill them. "We need to end it," Sage says. "I know," Grayson agrees. "That is fine by me." Sage says a spell to help him reveal where the core of the shadow is while the lycans are dealing with the shadow. Grayson is having his fun, and the shadow attempts to take a bite at him.

While Bo has a shining white head free of even a single strand of hair and a short thin (mostly gray) facial hair and smells like golden spice. Gray is standing on the left side of a semicircle made up of him, Cordelia and Bo, with cordelia being in the middle, a few yards just ahead of us. Gray’s holding a long thick metal link chain in his hands, conversing with the two. Iselyn and I stop a few feet away, just close enough to alert them to our presence and hear the conversation.
