Recommended continued investment. I thought about Kenny's hands gripping me like a shield against something coming. About Zara's face when she'd said Dain's name. About the pack meeting and the cold efficiency of forty supernatural beings managing their position in a hierarchy built entirely on being watched.

You know when your mind sees something that is so utterly beautiful, so unworldly that it distinctively focuses on the pinnacle of its interest, zeroing in on that magnificent sight, having everything else blur in the background? That's what Nate's eyes did to me. The golden, caramel orbs locked on mine and it was all I could see. Folding it and putting it on my lap, I blinked, getting used to the light again. I heard lots of gasps, probably because most people here have never seen my eyes, they must be mesmerized.

Their heavenly features and captivating gazes left her spellbound. As she stood there, she couldn't shake the feeling that their eyes changed colors, shifting like the hues of a sunset. Eden's piercing blue eyes seemed to gleam with amusement, while Nathan's emerald eyes narrowed slightly. Kyle's sapphire eyes crinkled at the corners. Pearl remained frozen until they entered the principal's office. Just as the door swung shut, Eden turned and glanced back at her, his lips curling into a charming smile. The door closed, and Pearl felt a tingling sensation in her stomach, as if butterflies danced within her.

Shu who's eyes resembles their father, but looks exactly like their mother, and on the other side, Lyn who's the exact carbon copy of their mother. The two shake their head, telling their Alpha father to get quiet first, giving a thumbs up sign to Shaun. “You hurt mom again?” It was Lyn and pointed a finger at Shu to ask if their mom was behind the door, eavesdropping. Shu nodded, and Shaun carried on the plan of his children, his back-ups that never fails. “No, I only have two eyes for your mother” Shu raised its three fingers to form an O, indicating that their mother is standing behind the door listening to them.
