The Omega Queen
It was not a call, nor a welcome, but a judgment.
I swallowed, my hands tightening at my sides. “I am here.”
The ground beneath me hummed faintly, and I knew she was near before she spoke again.
“I am Syrenthia, Spirit of the Frozen Heart.”
My body stiffened. Her presence was like the sting of metal pressed against bare skin in winter, painful and merciless. I could feel her walking around me, though her steps made no sound. When she finally stopped, the air before me turned unbearably cold, and I imagined her standing there, regal and cruel, wrapped in frost.
