She nodded slowly, the apology settling. “Come here,” I commanded leaving no room for argument. She obeyed instantly, her movements faster as she stepped closer. “Sit on my lap,” I said, my voice soft yet authoritative. She did as I asked lowering herself on my lap but her cheeks flushed slightly, obviously with joy. Her presence was relieving and I let out a breath I hadn’t realized I was holding. “You mean a lot to me,” I began, my hand brushing against her lower lip in a way that made her shiver. “And I hate seeing you with another guy. It makes me sick and dries up my blood.”

Her face tightened when she saw me sitting there. “Four minutes, thirty-two seconds,” I murmured, glancing at my watch. "Almost on time.” I set the glass down and looked at her flatly. “Come here.” She hesitated but then walked toward me. When she was close enough, I tapped my thigh once. “Sit.” She looked at me for a fraction of a second. Defiance and resignation collided in her eyes. In the end, she obeyed. Slowly, she sat on my lap.

"What?" "You heard me," I said, patting my lap again. "Come here. Sit on my lap." River stared at me for a moment, reluctance flickering in her eyes, before she huffed and slid off her chair, crossing the short distance to me. "Sit." I said, moving the chair further back to accomodate her. Her eyes watched me defiantly. She was not going to sit. "Suit yourself." With that, I scooped her into my arms and sat down in the chair, placing her over my lap.

She explains. I stand there looking at her. I was not expecting that. I can hear her giggling at my response, and I grab her and pull her onto my lap as I sit on her bed. I have much to learn about my little sunrise.

Her fingers were cool against my split knuckles. She pressed a soft kiss to the back of my hand, unhurried, like she had all the time in the world, and looked up at me through her lashes. "Sit down," she said quietly. I sat on the edge of the bed and she climbed into my lap like it was the most natural thing, her knees on either side of me, her hands sliding up under the hem of my jersey to rest warm and flat against my ribs. I let her. My hands found her waist automatically, gripping harder than I meant to.

She smelt like she just had her bath. “Is everything okay? You don't look like you are excited to see me? where have you been? Zeke said you just left." The barrage of questions was beginning to make me feel woozy. I headed straight for the bed to sit down. She followed closely. The way her eyes clouded, I knew my reaction hurt her. I stretched my hand forward to pull her in. “Come here and sit.” She sat on my lap like an obedient baby. “Tell me, you don't look happy, what's wrong?”

He finally darted his eyes on me. "You are taking the whole sit. Where am I supposed to sit?" I questioned. "On my lap, Ella. How can you forget this soon?" He raised his eyebrows with a sinister smile on his face. My cheeks reddened and I lowered my head feeling shy. I was speechless for a while. "Don't you want to sit on my lap anymore? I was just..." Before he could complete his sentence I plonked on his lap hastily. "Ouch! I was not ready for that," he mumbled making his face sore.

Her thighs were exposed and I could see a bit of her boobs. “Have you seat,” she told me slowly. I didn't know if this was magic but I found myself obeying her. I sat down as she had told me and watched her as she revealed the meal she had brought for me. She was so delicate in doing this and I was blown away by all she did.
