I whispered dangerously. Her heart was pounding, and I didn’t miss the way she swallowed. Taking her silence as obedience, I stepped around her, continuing on my way down. "Then why did you refuse her?" She asked quietly. I didn’t need to ask who she meant. "What do you want to hear, Little Storm? Because I don’t think anything I say will help in any fucking way." I replied quietly, as I glanced at her over my shoulder. "I don’t know either, I just… Ignore me." She frowned, running her fingers through her hair.

Her voice was soft, yet it carried above the storm, each word sinking into the marrow of my bones. Serenya’s fists rolled at her sides. “Do not call me that. Do not speak as though you know me.” The woman’s gaze swept the clearing, settling at last on Amaiya. My heart lurched. Amaiya was on her knees, her head bowed, shoulders trembling under the storm’s weight. Her lips moved, whispering words I couldn’t hear. The pale woman’s expression sharpened. “You planned this,” she said, her voice cutting like wind over ice.

I could see my words struck a nerve, the shock in his face is evident. “You’re fucking crazy, I wanna see my girlfriend, NOW!” “That’s not going to happen. Firstly because you have no girlfriend, secondly because the woman you are referring to is now with me and thirdly…well that’s simple, I am karma.” Before Ethan could say another word I surprised him with a throat strike, not one strong enough to kill him although I am more than capable of that, but one which had him gasping for air and rolling around like he was being beheaded.
