Shifters Novels & Stories

"The 'Awakened' wolves... they aren't just shifting anymore. They’re being Extracted!" Through the Pack-Bond, I felt a sudden, terrifying void. In the Southern Delta, a group of newly-freed Alphas didn't combust—they Vanished. They turned into pillars of pure, white-silver stardust and were pulled upward, toward the pulsing stars. It wasn't an execution; it was a Recall. "The Moon is a Harvester," I realized, the horror of the 187th Chapter hitting me like a physical blow. "The shifters were never meant to 'be' a species. We were meant to be Batteries for something much larger."

“ And this one is all about you. It tells the prophecy in great detail. It also tells what Luther’s great grandfather experienced when he was sent to the last child. It details all the things you were created to accomplish.” Wow, this is a lot. “ Don’t worry. I will just give you the highlights. But if you ever want to come and read any of it on your own you will know where to find them.” Maize said. We spent the next hour going over each book. I learned that the Goddess created shifters to protect humans from the evils of the world. Those who didn’t think humans had the right to exist. Or that they were the lowest forms of life. I learned there are more types

Ava takes the container and moves to the other end of the big table as Raphael opens the first book and places it in front of me. "This chapter is on the panther Shifters. they are a lot like us. They have a Royal family, a council, then the Alpha of Alpha's and then the lower packs under that." I skim over the chapter he pointed out, and it covers just what he said it did. He then moves that one and places another one in front of me.

I must have said the correct thing because both Miaka and Kenna were smiling. The world itself felt like it stood still as she began to narrate her story. “Millions of years ago, life as we know it evolved from apes, but has anyone ever wondered if apes were the only animals that evolved or why were it just apes? The truth is, there had been several animals that evolved. They gained the power to transform into human forms through sheer survival instincts and a little bit of magic. They came to be known as the shifters.

And it is also believed that a supernatural reaction between the two lovers causes the freckles to appear. SHIFTERS- Beings that live opposite mortals in this fantastical world that change or "Shift" into their animal counterparts in times of dire need or in extreme and emotional situations. Most Shifters reside in their homelands called Clan Lands which they share with others of their kind and Shift called Clans Men. There are a total of Six Shifter Clans that reside throughout the planet each supporting the various other species of Shifters from Bird to Dog.

Like there was a fissure in our unrivaled power. Supremacy is fought for among species and shifters. Shifters were not limited to werewolves. There were werebears, werelions, were-apes, foxes, and so on. It's just that they were so small in number that you could hardly consider them a pack, pride, or clan. "If you don't arrange a search team, I will try to find him myself, just like I did three nights ago." She threatened, which snapped me out of my reverie.

We are not like them. Shifters are born with their own spirit animal, linked to not only lineage but the individual’s personality. There are so many of us; feline, canine, reptile, rodent, and more. Some are stronger than others, but we’re all a part of our own community. Our own kingdom. All except a few. “So,” I say, spearing a piece of asparagus, “how is the war? There’s going to be a ceasefire?” I say it as casually as I possibly can.

Amelia looked at the two wondering what they were arguing about. "Tell her and I promise I'll make you pay," Arthur growled and he signaled Lance and Adrian to get Cara out of there. They both proceeded to capture her but she snapped her fingers and she immediately became trapped in a ball, one that Adrian and Lance were unable to penetrate. "These three are what we call shifters; lycans to be exact and I'm a witch," Cara said. "That's enough," Arthur growled and he attacked Cara with his half shifted hand. She immediately removed the fireball and disappeared from there.

I wonder if this one has a story to tell. After a few days, the shapeshifter has recovered. It sits up, and I bring it some food and water. It eats and drinks, and then it looks at me, its eyes full of gratitude. It speaks, its voice deep and raspy. "Thank you for saving my life," it says. I nod, and I ask it if it would like to tell me its story. The shapeshifter hesitates, but then it begins to speak. "My name is Lycan, and I am an outcast among my kind. "Lycan tells me about the world of shapeshifters, a world of beauty and danger. They are creatures of the night, able to shift between human and animal form. They live in the shadows, feared and misunderstoo

He had hated the way he treated me, what he did to me and said to me. I had to give him props for his restraint, but it also showed just how much he loved me. “So what do you guys have?” Abner asked, taking Mathias's drink instead and sipping it. “Well,” Damon scratched his head, searching for the right words “Okay, so, what separates shifters from humans?” He asks us looking around the room. “Umm, the fact that we have a counterpart, a spirit animal.” Mathias says looking at Damon as if to say ‘where is this going?'
