She gazed out towards the harbour and saw numerous ships bobbing on the water. Shortly after, a young man approached them. "Sir Charlie, the cargo ship is preparing to depart. I will escort you both," he informed them. "Thank you," Charlie Sr. replied gratefully, grabbing their bags. Margret hugged herself tightly as she followed them. The young man led them onto the cargo ship and then departed. A horn sounded, signalling the ship's imminent departure.
