Within minutes, the would-be raiders are retreating, limping into the night.

Marina then looked in the same direction and she also saw the silhouette on the water, making her confused. “Are they lost?” Marina asked, but Charlotte stayed silent. There were little star shaped details etched onto the rails. The stairs leading to the main deck had a gold shimmer line across the top of them that sparkled in front of the cherry color. The mass holding the sails was made out of a light color wood that played well with the gold details throughout the ship. She raised her eyes following the mass up to the sails. She gazed out towards the harbour and saw numerous ships bobbing on the water. Shortly after, a young man approached them. "Sir Charlie, the cargo ship is preparing to depart. I will escort you both," he informed them. "Thank you," Charlie Sr. replied gratefully, grabbing their bags. Margret hugged herself tightly as she followed them. The young man led them onto the cargo ship and then departed. A horn sounded, signalling the ship's imminent departure. Charlie Sr. and Margret Owen found a quiet corner among the shipping containers and huddled together. "Charlie, do you know where we're heading?" Margret asked, her voice quivering with anxiety and cold.

I sighed as I focused my attention on the map I am currently studying. Thankfully the swaying of the new and smaller ship calms me now. Before, it makes me puke but surprisingly, my body adopted the surrounding now. I hold the quill pen properly and steadily as I draw some lines in the map as a guide to where we are going to use it when we're on land already.
