Once upon a time, there lived a kind cople of elders. They had a beautiful love story. They were friends since childhood and stayed by each other side till they became old. Nothing could their them apart. Not even the fact that the woman could not get pregnant. They lived happy, in a small village, covered in snow half the year. There were happy children, enough food every winter and no war, just the calm peace.

I thought I was loved, I never knew he used me to get close enough to my baby. Just then, my eyelids grew heavy and I slowly fell into deep sleep, while cuddling the sofa pillows and drenching it with tears.

I shampooed their hair, careful to avoid their eyes, and listened to their daydreams about mermaid pirates and buried treasure. Story time followed, nestled under a mountain of blankets. Their eyelids grew heavy as I narrated tales of brave knights and magical creatures. With a soft kiss on their foreheads, I tucked them in, the faint scent of bubble bath and childhood clinging to their hair. I watched them drift off to sleep, a silent promise echoed in my heart. No matter how demanding work became, no matter how overwhelming life felt, I would make time for them. These stolen moments, these messy adventures, these expressions of pure, unadulterated love – that was what truly mattered.

As the sun began to set, Valerie gathered the twins for bedtime. She tucked them into bed, and Kelly, with a yawn, said, "Mom, can you tell us a bedtime story?" Valerie, sitting on the edge of the bed, began weaving a tale of adventures, magical lands, and the power of love. The twins listened with wide-eyed fascination, their imaginations taking flight. Once the story ended, Kyle, with a sleepy smile, whispered, "I love you, Mom."

As she does, she asks. “Do you want me to tell you a bedtime story?” “Yes, please…" Herzl uttered, his eyes already beginning to droop as he lay comfortably on his bed. Lisa thinks for a moment before replying. “I'll tell you the story of the three little pigs.” She enounced. Herzl's eyes light up, and he gives a sleepy grin.
