Regretting Divorce

Regretting Divorce

"Many innocent ones died untimely deaths because of bitches like you. They're here to say Hi to you. Now be quiet and let me eat." Hunter drew the blinds again and went inside. The whole night Zara sat against the tree, trying not to notice the movements or the flashes of white swooshing around her. It was the first time in life that terror sealed her throat. She was one to love horror settings like these, but this was something she wasn't prepared for — A real horror experience. ~~~ Zara's third night was spent tied in the woods too. No matter how much she instigated Hunter he didn't put a bullet between her eyes. Or a knife in her heart.

Author says they’re not dragging the story…but he/she is. The whole Claire and Tyler marriage thing was unnecessary. I tried to give it some time and come back to see if it’s complete and it’s still going. I guess the story isn’t for me to finish…

This book is awesome, I am actually in love with the characters. I hope we will get the rest of the side characters stories soon and in some parts of Claire and Hunter's future too. Fingers crossed ..., still waiting ...!!

121 Days With My Mate

121 Days With My Mate

As the stories got scarier, I noticed a few of the younger pack members huddling closer to their parents, seeking comfort and reassurance. Soon, it was my turn to share a story. Feeling the weight of the moment, I cleared my throat and began my tale. "In a small village, there was a haunted mansion. It was said that the spirit of a vengeful witch roamed the halls, seeking revenge on anyone who dared to enter her domain..." I let my imagination run wild, conjuring spine-chilling scenes and mysterious characters. The pack leaned in closer, their eyes wide with fascination, hanging onto every word I spoke. The suspenseful atmosphere made my heart race with excitement.

MARKED BY MOONLIGHT

MARKED BY MOONLIGHT

“What else have you heard?” Too much. Too much poison dressed up as bedtime stories. Garrett Monroe—my father, the only family I had left—used to slur those horror tales into my ears whenever he was drunk. Stories about sharp-toothed beasts who dragged children from their beds and devoured them whole. Creatures who wore human skin by day but hunted by moonlight. At the time, I thought he was warning me. Trying to protect me in his own twisted, broken way. But now? Now I don’t know.

Hi lovely reader, thank you for giving Marked by Moonlight a chance. ... Every read, gem, and comment means so much to me. If you’re enjoying it, please drop a comment or review so I know you’re here. I love hearing your thoughts, even the messy or emotional ones. Cause I'm just as emotional. ...🫶🏽

Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

** My hands were firm on the steering wheel as Mikael and I journeyed through the darkened road. It had been one hour of us in the car, the city turning into country and the road transitioning into dirt and moist earth beneath my car's wheels. We kept conversation minimal the first hour because we were both nervous. Mikael, however, was more anxious than I was. He had never been to the Bayou of the Shunned, but like everyone else, had heard tales about the cursed swamp and the witch that ruled over it as its Supreme Sorceress. Sajida was the bedtime story mambos and houngans told their kids about to keep them in line; in the black community, Sajida was "that" woman that the children of voodo

The Tales Next Door

The Tales Next Door

said her grandmother as she closed the door after her. A few days later, Ria took Dimple and her driver to their farmhouse 40km from the city. The driver waited in the car as she went inside the premises. He was too scared to go inside. Ria was the only one who visited the farmhouse now. The farm next to theirs was in ruins. Everyone believed it was haunted and had not been visited by any living soul in years. It was here that her mother had died. Many people said her death was due to the haunting spirits. Since then, Ria's family had also stopped coming to the farm.

Tales of a vampire

Tales of a vampire

Long live the over Lord" the crowd responded as they bow down to their new over Lord. Among the people that escaped with me were; Annabelle (my sister) Linx (500 years old male vampire) Dexter (380 years old male vampire) and Tessa (400 years old female vampire) We were all teleported to the new world, the age of humans beings, We landed at New York, inside someone's plantation, at night, a girl was coming with lights and some farm tools, maybe wanted to harvest something, I sighted her meters away due to my vampire sights, before she could approach us we quickly shape shifted to the form which she took (human form), when she got close to us she heard us humming

Short Scary Stories

Short Scary Stories

In 1983 a Mrs Carson of New York was laid out in our coffin, presumed dead of hear disease. As mourners watched, she suddenly sat up, alive as you or I. Unfortunately her daughter dropped dead of fright on the spot. I don't own any of this stories. I found them in some creepy books. I'm thinking of writing my own scary stories, but not anytime soon. You can send me your short stories for a feature if you feel like it. Thanks for reading. Enjoy!I don't own any of this stories. I found them in some creepy books. The Black Well Game

The Black Well Game

Slowly… slowly… Until it stood right above her head. Anusha froze with fear. She turned her head slightly— There was no one in the room. But on the wall… the shadow stood. And then— The shadow’s head moved close to her ear and whispered— “I have come…” Her eyes widened. The next second, the lamp went out. The room plunged into darkness. And someone grabbed her shoulder— Cold… icy… not human at all. Anusha screamed and fainted. When she woke up in the morning, the guest house was normal.

My Nightmares

My Nightmares

Just remember, if you don’t want things to go bump in the night, don’t tell anyone else about them. Even now the shadows in my room play havoc with my subconscious, so I turn the light on and sleep with one eye open. Also, when my computer starts to go on the fritz just as I write a particularly spooky part of a story, I chuck it up to chance and swallow a little harder before checking to make sure that I have only one shadow. It’s amazing that I still get so scared as an adult. You sure would have thought that for someone who makes a living scaring people, I would know better, right?

Sinful Desires: Fatal bonds

Sinful Desires: Fatal bonds

"Vampires. They do not need blood to survive, but they crave it. The older ones can control your mind with a look. They live in the mountain keeps, and they collect beautiful things. People are beautiful to them." "Faes." Elara took over... "Do not let their size fool you. The small ones are the most dangerous. They speak in riddles, and if you answer wrong, they own you. Contracts with faes are binding forever. Some have been alive for thousands of years. They remember everything, and they never forgive." Halek continued. "Shadows spawn. No one knows what they are. They live in the spaces between light, and they feed on fear. You will not see them until they are inside your shadow. Then you
