Ava halted immediately and asked “Whenever I call them names just know it is for Daisy and Flora” Larisa replied as she chew on her gum quietly “I am not always excited whenever I have to work with them” Larisa added almost lost in thought but Ava’s question jolted her out of it. “Would you ever forget that incident?” “I don’t think so, but what goes around would surely come around” Larisa replied, her mood suddenly turned into a sad one as she remembers what transpired between her ex-lover and Daisy.

“Whatever makes you happy baby. I have wanted to take you out on this road for a very long time. And I thought you might also need some away time from home right now.” Bella smiled at him knowingly and said, “And thank you waiting for me to say anything about what happened this morning. You are a very patient man Nicholas. I like you being patient with me. My whole life has been rushed, but now with you around I am relaxed and not in a rush for anything Nicholas.”

I run to escape but he was chasing me over and over again. "Hey, stop," I said then I accidentally slipped and bumped into him. Then he grabbed my waist to balance me, and our eyes attached. I was in a panic, "Oh no Ylisha,” I can't even change positions, this is awkward. I can feel my cheeks burning up. But I remembered it's my birthday and I'd never felt so much happiness like this before.

I went to the hall, holding onto that one sentence, hoping against hope for that one shot at happiness. But the woman I love loved me back. For the first time in my life, I was chosen for who I am. Wasn’t this a victory already? This was happiness itself. Katniss was guaranteed to be happy in the future. I… could be satisfied with that. I don’t need to be loved for a lifetime. She could just love me now. Maybe I’m not the kind of man women would need for a lifetime. Maybe I’m only meant for a one-time thing. And it’ll be okay. I would take whatever Katniss would give.

I was aware of how ridiculous that sounded, given everything given eight years of Stella’s architecture, given a bullet, given a divorce and five years of missing mornings that I was now present for every single day.
