It’s going to be a long night… I parked my car across the main entrance of The Vintage, shaking my head at the crowd and unusual amount of reporters, swarming The Vintage. It’s an awfully chilly night although it’s the middle of summer, zipping up my black hoodie, I pocketed my keys before pushing through the swarm reporters and entering the large building. As I had been walking through the entrance, I heard the reporters talking amongst themselves about the mysterious disappearance of the Hudson twins causing my eyes to widen. What the hell? The disappearance of the Hudson twins?

He rushed almost yelled. "But the first 30 pages were missing," I added immediately meeting his same tone. "Go to the North Pole, there you will find the library and if you have luck you can get a spare copy of that book. But please don't trust anyone. Do it by yourself." He almost pleaded then his eyes widened with fear when he spotted something behind me, it's like he has seen the ghost and to prove the dismay his skin turned pale like me, his breathing became abnormal. What happened to him?

Just when we thought the darkness had been vanquished, a new shadow emerged, threatening to cast its pall over our lives once again. It started with a series of cryptic messages, delivered in the dead of night, reminiscent of the anonymous letters that had plagued us before. Each message hinted at a hidden secret, a truth that had been concealed from us for far too long. As we delved deeper into the mystery, the pieces of the puzzle began to fall into place, revealing a shocking revelation—one that would shake the very foundations of our existence.

Something strange happens in Rafe's house, especially in Luna's room. A very old magic book, the Grimoire, opens by itself. The room feels even stranger when ghostly laughter is heard. Then suddenly a clear sentence breaks the silence. "I must hurry with this plan," says a mysterious voice, and then the Grimoire disappears as if it had never been there. The story moves to the wilds of Borneo, a different and secret place. Here many helicopters, supported by air force planes, are searching for something important.

Ella chimed in, her excitement evident. Curiosity got the better of us, and we decided to take a detour to visit the fortune teller. The small, dimly lit shop was tucked away in a quiet corner, with a sign that read, "Madame Zara's Mystical Readings." The interior was filled with an eclectic mix of mystical artifacts – crystal balls, tarot cards, and dreamcatchers. The air was heavy with the scent of incense, adding to the otherworldly atmosphere. Madame Zara, a woman with piercing eyes and an enigmatic smile, welcomed us. "Come in, come in. I sense you have many questions," she said, her voice soothing yet filled with an air of mystery.

I supposed I couldn’t judge if I was still so freaked out by the fortune teller. “Tell me about it,” the barista agreed. “But what else could they say? No one’s been able to catch the ghosts on camera or anything.” She paused then, pursing her lips a bit as she peered out the window. “If you ask me, Moonshine Manor has something to do with it. That place has… bad energy.” I frowned, opening my mouth to speak, but then shut it again when Chris touched my wrist. More rumors, I figured; it was just a house.

The problem I’m having is this: If I allow myself even the slightest bit of wiggle room for the veracity of Father Ward’s story in this journal, the door is opened wide for all sorts of other things. Like a child-devouring demon named Moloch or Baal. An odd yellow taxi and odder coins bearing a strange design popping up all over town. A ghostly boy maybe born of a man’s deep pain and self-loathing. A strange place called Carcosa—with black skies and even blacker stars—where it seems lost people go when they’ve nowhere else. Someone or something named Hastur (a name which runs cold shivers down my spine even thinking it).

Perhaps till another moonlight but that could take months or years in fact.” My eyes widened in horror as I watched it sink into the altar gradually.
