Short Story Contests 2024 Novels & Stories

I'll be posting prompts for story openings based on our ongoing contests, successful outlines and designs, and if you are up for it, take it and write it out~ Come back to me with your own story and I have contracts to offer~ (well, if you already have a senior editor with GN, go to them :P -------

Terrence took the tray and pulled out all the food. Terrence fed me. I grumbled that the tofu was still superheated. I thought he was purposely pissing me off “Have you heard of an exciting contest?” Terrence asked me. “What kind of contest is that?” Terrence frowned. “I don't understand, but some students at Miracle Academy talk about this contest non-stop. Maybe you can check your email. You're still using the old email, right? We do promotions via email as well.” “Wow. looks like it's a great contest. Is it a contest to catch rabbits or a power struggle between werewolves?”

"Ah okay, just this one time, Mey." "Thank you!" I smiled. He gave me a brief nod and continued to explain our task, "At the end of the year, each of you shall complete a 30,000 words novella. We would make it a contest, and just like any competition, there shall be a winner. Our English teacher, Mr. Rodriguez, an editor from our local paper, and I would be the judge." Koltin seemed very interested. I watched him eagerly raise his hand before asking, "What do we get if we win?"

Until now, strange short stories had only very short stories. But from volume two I intend to add stories that have 10 to 20 captains as well. These stories are not so long nor have so much visibility as a separated book. For this reason, I decided to move all then into strange short stories, that is already a storybook of different themes.

It would be best to create a new short story with a ten thousand word count for your first review, and the deadline is tomorrow at 6 pm. Take note that you can't use your previous works as your first review. No scores will be deducted, and this will be your first test. The genre is Romance.
